We were in the middle of a long driving trip and were wanting to grab a quick meal and get out of the car for a bit. We like Sonics and ours back home has a large shaded eating area outdoors and we thought that would be a nice way to enjoy a shake and a cheeseburger. Unfortunately this Sonic only has about 4 tables and two of them were in the sun and the other two were taken. Oh well. We can stand around the car and eat we thought. Next problem was no bathrooms. At all. Most sonics have bathrooms around back which is a problem for staff to keep clean. This one solved that problem. No bathrooms at all. Enough complaining. This location sucks and management sucks even more. Doordashers are made to wait workers just push button to say order was given but they purposely hold meals to make you wait !!!! I quit taking all doordash orders because they purposely will make you wait 20+ minutes every single time and hopefully enough report it to get doordash to stop this location from taking orders as it's a fraud to the Dashers big time look at their cameras they will take entire 10 cars before bringing your dash even if it's way past time to pick up !!! The worst service ever. They push the order ahead app but still wait ten to fifteen minutes to get your order. And then it may not be right. Service is so slow. Today I order a jr. breakfast burrito and left. When I was ready to eat, no salsa and no napkin. I would not give any starts at all. One is generous. read more

I want to give this place a good review because there are a couple of employees that seem to always have a smile on their face and make the most of their job BUT this place is ridiculous. Sonic in general is not the fastest service but the sloths in zootoptia at the dmv produced faster outcomes. It clearly is a management issue and there is not established work flow, because this is no reason under the sun as to why I waited 18 min for a water (not a free water) but a 44oz water. EIGHTEEN MINUTES FOR WATER! Last I checked fast food have averages to keep up, this was an order that could've easily brought their times up but this foolishness happened. Do better sonic! read more

My friends and I were on a road trip, just passing through and wanting something quick to keep moving down the road. We ordered on the Sonic app and set a pick up time prior to getting into town, yet when we got to the restaurant we still had to wait 20 minutes. All the food was right on our order! We unfortunately didn't get any of the sauces we ordered, so had to go back through to get them. BUT once we got everything, the food was great. First, when we ordered our stuff, their screen wasn't working, so we couldn't see our order. Then, it took 30 minutes to get our food. Once we finally got it, they got one of our drinks wrong! Then, we waited 5 more minutes to get the right one. Terrible service! read more

We stopped by for some ice cream on a hot weekend. They were friendly and fast, but we found it funny that the carhop didn't bother to bring us any napkins. She did run back in and get them, but that should be something they give you automatically. read more

Ordered my route 44 cherry limeade and super sonic burrito the drink wasn't mixed at all the flavor was at the bottom and didn't have a single cherry. the burrito on the other hand was not the best it was lacking in size and they forgot the meat. read more

Typically we enjoy Sonic. The service is always pleasant. Tonight we were highly disappointed in the food. Cold fries and tots with the taste of old oil. The burger had an odd taste and I removed the bottom bun and discovered sitting grease on the patty! My husbands chili cheese dog was soggy so he removed it from the bun. He said the taste was off as well. At least are drinks were good! I hope this was a fluke! read more

I've tried this place late in the evening twice now, and I don't know if they're like this during the day and their night staff just needs MUCH better training, or if it's the entire restaurant, but it took over 25 minutes to get our order the first time. They weren't that busy so I asked what the problem had been, they said they put the wrong sauce on our chicken the first time, but still doesn't explain it taking THAT long to cook a 2nd order of chicken strips. No offer was made to comp us even a little for their mistake and the wait. The second time I thought maybe the drive-thru would've been faster. No way. I was the 5th car back in line, watched the person 2 cars ahead of me get sick of the wait and leave, waited another 10 minutes myself, then drove off as well when the line STILL hadn't moved at all. I wish I could've left the first time but I had already paid with my card. It just doesn't take that long to throw something in hot oil. The night staff here is nice enough but downright incompetent. I was at your store #1043 in Cameron, Missouri and your card machine did not work at the station that I was in. The young man went to the station next to me and ran my card there. The credit card I used is strictly a money card. The OptPlusCard always emails me right after a transaction. This took place about 4:00pm yesterday. When I got back home I checked my E-mail and the young man had charged me 2.00 more than the meal. The meal was 8.02 and the charge was 10.02. I called Sonic Drive in today and talk to a young woman who said she was the manager on duty. Her name is Cassidy Danner. She said the young man could not have taken the 2.00. It was a mistake. The machine had to have done it. I gave the young man 1.00 tip when I handed him my card. He took another tip of 2.00. I asked the young woman was sonic trying to steal from me or the young man. She said it was a mistake. The money isnt the issue. It is the fact that your company or the young man stole 2.00 which isnt very ethnical way to do business.
