The children got part of theirs and the adults were served minutes apart from each other. After most of us had food in Front of us ( my brothers food came out about 15 minutes after the rest of us with no explanation as to why) we discovered we had no silverware so we had to wait again for silverware. All of my food was cold except my baked beans. I will say it was tasty but would have tasted much better if it was hot. My wife's was also cold except for her beans. I can say this because I brought most of mine home and warmed it up and it was very tasty. On different note I originally ordered sausage for lunch and right before our food was coming out I was told that I was supposed to get 4 pieces of sausage with my order but they only had 2 left. I was offered a choice of taking the 2 sausage links or a different meat. No mention of a discount or something if I chose to take 2 links versus 4. Along with large failures we asked for bbq sauce and never received any,2 people didn't get the dinner rolls they were supposed to, and we ordered 2 orders of fried chicken to split between 5 children and they were not given plates to put chicken on to eat. Through all of this, no one apologized for all the breakdowns. With all this said, the adults we were with gave the benefit of the doubt and said it must just be an off day and would probably return. So the updated bill came back and it showed $0.89 a glass of tap water. I confirmed that was correct with the server. I can handle slow service. I can handle for getting silverware and food. We ordered fried oysters with fries, grilled catfish with salad with ranch dressing, and onion rings. It took 30 minutes to get any food. We got there around 12:20 so we were way after the lunch rush. I didn't get any salad dressing but Maddie came back and asked what kind I wanted. Within 10 minutes she brought us our check, let us know she was leaving and gave us the name of who would take care of us. No offer to get us anything else. Glad we weren't wanting any ice cream or a shake, because apparently we were not going to get offered that either. Maybe it was an off day. The food was good though, I think, because I was so hungry when it came that I pretty much inhaled it. You know how when you go to a fast food restaurant they have trash receptacles on the dining room floor? They have that here too. And unfortunately, we sat down next to one.
