Usually ok, but check your order when you receive it because they won't fix it even if it's a 99 cent item.

A friend brought me, she recommended the Michelada, I think? (It had shrimp in it, all I remember besides tomato juice.) yeah that wasn't for me and tbh I didn't really see anything else on the menu besides that at the time. They were nice people though. Well we fast forward to July 27 and my husband was curious about the place. We went through and I automatically saw a mango slushy thing going to work so I got excited. But when we got up there they only had the tomato stuff to offer until we asked "Are you *SURE* there's nothing else?" The young lady said well we have #15 but it's not ready & it's mango. We asked how did it taste? She said she never tried it. So she poured us a small sample in a cup. It was so good, so fruity!! We ordered that & then waited for it to get ready, about 5 mins. They told us to pull forward & we waited as she brought it out. The very next day we hosted company & I wanted another to try. So my brother-in-law ride over there with us and bought two #5(s) with no Smirnoff. My husband & I got the blueberry #15. Let's just say my sister-in-law was steamed because she wanted a drink, not food/ fruit. When he returned to her without booze she says it was pretty but sure it would have looked BETTER with a Smirnoff in it. My husband gave her his drink & he ate the fruit cup. He said it was good. My brother-in-law said it was good. Everything tasted fresh and they didn't over do it with the Lucas.

I wanted to stock up on a couple of spirits for Thanksgiving. They had a "sale" on Balcones Baby…read moreBlue 1.75 liter for $40. Eight dollars off. Good stuff. There was a manager at the door yelling at people about how they must traverse the insane labyrinth of the check-out line, which incomprehensibly forces you to go all the way to the back of the store and avoid closed off aisles etc. I asked the "manager" directing traffic about the sale on the Baby Blue because the 1.75 liter was according to the sale even cheaper than the 750 ml. bottle. She glared at me and said nothing. She called one of the male employees (the men are the only polite and helpful people in the shop), and he checked and double-checked his computer and assured me - politely and kindly - that the sale price was $40 for 1.75 liter of Baby Blue. I had several Thanksgiving recipes that I wanted to use bourbon for so I picked it up at that sale price. I withstood the women manager telling me where the line was supposed to start and then I came to the line of cashiers. All women. Normally in a place where they take your money they are cheerful and welcome you to their cash register. "Over here, I am open!" This did not happen. Three women on the registers and not a one of them looked up. I went to the first available assuming that they were just engaged in other things. "Is this register open?" I cheerfully asked. I was reaching for my wallet but my wife was with me and was paying attention and she later told me that the woman at the register rolled her eyes in an extremely rude way. She did not say a word to me as I checked out. I have never been treated more rudely in a shop. Anywhere. My wife could not believe what a b**ch the cashier was to me. She was all painted up in multiple pounds of make-up and three feet long eyelashes but she was totally hateful. She actually hated the people whose hard-earned money paid her salary. Like all of the women who work at Specs Angleton. And here's the kicker: the rude eye-rolling woman actually charged me ten dollars OVER the sales price for the bottle of Balcones. Even MORE than the non-sales price. I only noticed it when I was home, more than 30 minutes away from the store and not about to make another trip out there. The normal price was $48. The sale price was $40. She charged me $50. The female staff at Spec's Angleton literally stole from me because they for some reason resented me as a customer. They hate men? Never go there. Especially if you are a man. I'll never go back.

For the love of sweet, sugary, and fizzy drinks, we have Swig. When I first heard of this drive…read morethru only spot, I was actually shocked to learn that it is basically a soda shop. Yup, just soft drinks but make it dirty, plus a bit of snacks like pretzel bites and cookies. Dirty... like with the addition of fun flavors, fruits, and cream, not alcohol. The drive thru moves at an OK pace...not as fast as one would think but they're working on it (I hope). The sodas are customizable ranging from a kid's cup (12oz) all the way up to a whopping 44oz. Besides soda, the menu includes hot chocolate, sweet teas, revivers, and refreshers. I've tried a handful of different sodas including some seasonal ones, and all were quite unique. There is something satisfying about drinking from Swig and this is coming from a person who is and was never big on carbonated beverages. After trying multiple drinks, somehow they all start to taste very similar to one another. My top order is currently the Guava Have It! (mountain dew, guava, strawberry, and coconut cream), followed by Hula Girl (sprite, lemonade, mango, pineapple, strawberry, and coconut cream), Watermelon Sugar (mountain dew, mango, watermelon, coconut cream, and passion fruit popping pearls), and The Founder (diet coke, sugar-free coconut, fresh lime, and coconut cream). The mini chocolate chip cookies are your typical run of the mill grocery store type, with a soft texture and super sweet chocolate chips. I don't suggest having more sweets on top of the already sugary soda beverages unless you're looking for a sugar high. However, I do appreciate that Swig has a few sugar-free soda options too.
