Call ahead or hit the drive through. This place is great...they have sooo much variety to choose from We got A cheeseburger and a Catfish Sandwich and both came with fries . The hamburger is a good old fashioned grilled burger. Really juicy and delicious. The Catfish Sandwich was great and the only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 was because there was way too much sauce which compromised the great breading on the fish as well as my bun which made it so soggy I could finish the bun (which was very good and fresh. Bob's dad was named Elmo so we always eat at restaurants that share his name. Silly yes, but it's what we do. Elmo's in Brazoria is fast food fixture in the area. Menu features burgers, Mexican food favorites, and sides. It's an order at the counter and sit down place. Not much in the way of ambiance. I had a taco salad; ingredients were fresh, meat was well seasoned. Bob had a burger. Over cooked dry burgers are a pet peeve of his and this burger didn't disappoint. Onion rings crumb breaded and had an unappetizing texture. Glad we checked it out but will give Elmo's a pass next time we visit Brazoria. read more

Best burger joint in West Columbia! Get the jalapeño bun, order medium to medium rare and DO NOT FOGET BACON AND . Soooo good. Plus, the portions are great, unlike many of the newer burger joints trying to cut back on serving size. Highly recommended Elmo's Burgers !!! read more

I only go to Elmo's when visiting my dad who lives in Brazoria. Always great food every time I visit. It's always fresh and seasoned well.

My daughter and I ate here . Told her I've always wanted to try it as always see lots of cars in front of. The food was fine. I was glad I got to specify a small plate as I wasn't eating much. I also got a burger to go for my husband. He said it was very good. My daughter said the young man behind the cash register was super nice and polite. Elmo's is a great locally owned diner that just recently got a facelift and their food is delicious, that is if you don't mind waiting for about 40 minutes or more. I recently used their drive thru and I would advise all others to never use it because I waited for 40 minutes to get my food only for it to be cold like it sat around waiting for 15 minutes before being served to me. read more

Number 6 cheeseburger I ordered with no mayo and add mustard all the way. I get loads of Mayo. You people at Elmo's are so mentally ill or on drugs you haven't gotten my burger correct in over a year. What is going on with Elmo's? I've never had this kind of problem with a restaurant. They need to turn the lights down at night, and just fix it up a little. Not have the bus boy sweeping the mats while eating, in the restaurant, he needed to take them outside. This used to be a Dairy Queen as you can tell by the interior structure before it closed down and became Elmo's Grill.....but a block or two down the road there is another Dairy Queen *scratching head*, someone changed their mind about closing DQ up and decided to open up another one within proximity?
