Over the years, I have visited it numerous times without any issue. As with any ABC store, you know what you are getting. This store, although small-ish in size, does offer all the standard liquor selections. The only complaint is the parking lot. The parking lot is very small, with limited spaces. If you visit this ABC store, be sure to pay close attention to pedestrians trying to get into the store and also be aware of folks vying for the limited parking spaces.

A really small location, probably the smallest one I have been in. They make good use of the space they have and if it's an alcohol staple they are going to probably have it. This really isn't going to be a place to come for obscure items though. But vodka, tequila, whiskey, run, and those types of things they have an ok selection. Not over the top abundance, but they are going to get you what you need especially if you find yourself in a pinch. Only interaction with staff was during check out. They were plenty nice and actually had several people trying to check out at the same time and got them taken care of pretty quickly. Prices are what you would expect at ABC. They set the bar for lowest price from my experience in Alabama. This location is no different. If you are in the area and looking for something it's worth the stop.

Minor feedback for the chicken would be a char on the chicken to go with the dish. I forgot about the duck fat fries and ordered them. Almost perfect. They came out piping hot with great flavor. The curry catchup and garlic aioli were great. Minor feedback is the fries did not appear twice fried. They were good but that would be the additional touch. I will count the fries as dessert. I came here for a champagne tasting and brunch event I saw on EventBrite. I must say to access the…read morebuilding, the parking is tight and parts of the building is tight, but it's definitely a cute cellar. We were greeted when we entered and were given some instructions but I must admit, I was a little lost. I was told there was some outside seating (all of the tables/chairs were taken inside) so since this was my first time visiting, I wish there were signs or maybe the hostess could have showed us specifically where to go because oops, I accidentally opened a door that appeared to be an office. Someone saw us and we probably looked lost to them and so they were nice enough to show us the outside area which had a singer who sung some Frank Sinatra songs. He was very talented and appealed to the audience. To our surprise, we saw behind us a table for the tastings. I asked the server for a champagne card so I could take notes and view the prices, but she said when we entered, we should have received one. So I went back to the front and asked the people at the door for the champagne card and they stated that they were printing them, and that they will hand them out a little later. Also I wondered about my brunch that was paid for separately and they said they will come and find me when it was ready. I am glad that we were able to find a table because now I am wondering if we couldn't, how would we have eaten our food. In my opinion, tables should have been reserved for customers who ordered food. Also I wasn't sure how they were keeping up with which customer showed up first because we weren't given a number or anything to show that we ordered food and what our number in line was. At first glance, they seemed unorganized. But as the time progressed they did eventually bring out the champagne cards and they apologized for the lateness of us receiving our food. As the event was coming to an end, one of the workers gave us info on future wine tastings and when they have a live band. All in all, we enjoyed the experience despite it seeming to be unorganized at times, but will definitely come back and visit soon. P.S. The champagne was great! Even bought a bottle. Also the brunch tray was delicious. Hats off to the chef! That whipped goat cheese with orange marmalade was amazing!

They have a great variety of all of the above drinks and snacks, and particularly with respect to wines from all regions and of many different prices ranges (from $12 all the way up to $100+). Cheeses are also pretty good in variety and types, and they'll often have some cheeses and crackers available for tastings. If not, the staff is pretty knowledgeable on what they have to offer, so they can make great suggestions for wine and food pairings that meet your tastes and budget. One of the best perks about this place, in addition to the free tasting they'll often have, is that you can take out a basket (with deposit) and purple solos cups for an afternoon picnic. Perfect for sunny days around Big Spring Park and downtown Huntsville.
