This is one of the biggest Sonics I have ever been to! I placed a mobile order online using my rewards account. I ordered: Tropical Heat Sonic Smasher, All American Triple Sonic Smasher, Chili Cheese Tots, and one free medium tots. Our order was ready when we arrived and everything was in the bag. We did request sauce on the mobile order but they did not give us any or asked if we wanted any upon arrival. Our food was hot and delicious! My husband had the Tropical Heat smasher and it was really good. As always, the tots were fantastic. I'd come back to this location again. read more

stopped for lunch and regretted it. Service was fine but food was horrendous. ordered double smash with bacon. It was smashed alright; it was covered in grease with a hole in the top of the bun. There was something soft and black in it (turned out to be the bacon). The cheese had melted out of the sandwich. There was no lettuce or pickles and the onions were foul. Fries were hard and stale soaked with grease. The cherry limeade had such a strong chemical smell and taste. Donated it all to the trash. AWFUL! I should have looked at the reviews before we went but I figured they could do ice cream! We ordered two Reese's blasts - small, because the app wouldn't let us choose medium. We waited 20 minutes, even tho the stalls were pretty empty (another clue). The surrounding area was filthy but again, we figured ice cream would be easy. Finally got our order and after dropping our ice cream to us in a drink holder, we realized one of the cups was split and leaking. We pushed the button...waiting forget for a response. Told them the issue and waited and waited for someone to bring another cup. Luckily we had a coffee mug in the car and was able to transfer. Ordered 3 drinks with my family and got an Ocean Water, Lemonade Slushy with strawberries, and a Cherry Slushy with nerds. The Lemonade slushy has barely any strawberries and the cherry slushy had no nerds even though we payed for them. Pretty sure there was an entire fight going on in the kitchen because of the way some hand motions looked but it was hard to make out and the kitchen was soundproof. The waiters/waitresses came with the food pretty quickly. Edit: the strawberry slushy was super watery and felt quite cheap. 2 stars. read more

My friend and I ordered two large drinks. We used the app and ordered ahead. We checked in at 10:30pm. The screen changed and told us the ordered was being prepared. Then it said it was on the way. The screen returned to display and no one came out with our drinks. We sat there until close at 11pm. All the while we watched all of the workers not prepping any orders other than the food and drinks they were making for themselves. A few of them stood still on their phones. Only when they were locking up did we ask about our order. They never asked if we needed help. They looked at us like we never ordered when we had a receipt for the order. They get our order together in 2 minutes as it was only 2 drinks. The gentleman that works there and rides his bike to work made a gesture at us as if it was our fault that he didn't make our 2 drinks 30 minutes ago like they should have been. read more

We were at stall #32 and immediately the speaker got an attitude we were very patient until she made a little comment "o my goodness" after we ordered a medium fry. OK The tater tots and drink was fine. However that had to be the worst hamburg patty I have ever seen. I pulled a "Gordon Ramsay" and took the burger apart, The patty was wafer thin, over cooked and dry as a bone. A properly cooked patty should a few drops of fat and water if you squeeze it. Not this bad boy, you couldn't squeeze a drop of water out of it if you used a 40 ton brake press. If they only would GRILL their hotdogs and buns I would settle for that. This sonic is garbage. I ordered on stall #18 and it was a $45 order. I sat and waited 30 minutes, ya know just thought they probably don't have a lot of help. I was very patient. I had a worker come up to me and ask if I had a really big order I said yes mam she said ok hold on.. had another lady come out and tell me I must have moved because my order came up on the stall next to me and they cancelled it. We travelled 1700 miles to Nashville to see the eclipse on Aug 21. Upon consulting a map, we realized we could get even closer to totality if we drove down the road to Lebanon. So we drove out there on the 20th to scout out good viewing locations, and we decided that the K-Mart parking lot would be as good as any.... until we randomly pulled into Sonic to get some refreshments. We got to talking with the young server (I wish I remembered her name,) and she told us the fairgrounds was the place to go as they were having some festivities. We waited patiently for 20 minutes....but after watching 15 cars receiving food orders that ordered after us we asked for ETA on our drinks. More than half the screens don't work, and you'll wait at least 20 minutes for food... at a Sonic.... food is always cold and milkshakes are melted. They consistently get orders wrong. Sad... I love sonic, but this one is terrible. read more

I have been going to the Sonic in Lebanon Tn on West Main for more than 25 years and this is the first time I have had a terrible experience. Me and my mother ordered a hot fudge sundae and when we received the first sundaes they were only half way full. The car hop said that she told them that it was not enough and they still said send it out. I sent them back and received our second sundaes and they still did not even reach the top. The second car hop said that was not enough for $2.19. She said that the manager made them. The third sundaes come out with the manager in tow and she said there were regulations they had to follow. I have never in 25+ years got a sundae only half or midway full from sonic. It is usually so full it is spilling out. The manager just kept saying regulations. What about customer happiness? Plus when we got home we did not have the nuts on the sundaes that we originally ordered and was charged an extra .50 cents per sundae. Guess the new Dairy Queen will be getting my business from now own. read more

my friends and i stopped by sonic for a little snack, and we had a gift card to pay for part of it. we even called to check the balance before paying. we gave our carhop, jordan, enough to cover the rest in cash along with the gift card. she came back to the car a few minutes later, without the cash, and told us that the gift card had no money on it. we told her we had checked the balance on the card, and asked if she could try again, but gave her a debit card just in case it was declined again. she came back and let us know that it did go through, for the portion we knew it would cover, and she charged the rest of the balance on the debit card, and took the cash for herself. when we explained to her that the cash was for the remainder of the balance, she said that she thought it was a tip, and refused to give it back, until she gave us only a quarter back. she then (VERY RUDELY) asked, "do you want me to get a manager over here or what? do you want the refund or... what do you want?" we said we just wanted the cash back and she gave it to us and immediately stormed away from the car. read more
