Being in a small town makes you realize you can't just pick up and drive to your favorite sushi joint that's open late into the wee hours of the night...I could name half a dozen or more in Miami that I'm missing right about now at 12am but for the time being, my choices were limited. I've never been to a Sonic before and it's actually really cool, reminiscent of yesteryears from the 60s...this place was huge with so many areas you could just pull up and order your favorite burger and shake, with at least 40 or more stalls with a menu and speaker. The problem was that it was late and only their drive thru was open, so no hottie in short shorts with roller skates I guess...(sniffle) We ordered a bunch of things and most of it was decent, and some of it wasn't at all, but for a late night place that will serve you some grub, it ranks as just ok. Service was courteous and fast but I believe that wasn't a good thing...(grilled chicken sandwich) 4/5 Double Cheeseburger Combo $7.49 was freshly assembled and actually tasted really good; I felt the patty wasn't old and the vegetables weren't stale either. Ordered them with tator tots...one of my favorite foods and they too were freshly made in good fry oil, not old. The taste of this burger was very similar to a Whopper from BK. 0/5 Classic Grilled Chicken Sandwich $4.59 was the absolute worst thing and can't be considered food you'd serve to your own mother let alone a patron who's going to pay for it. How the staff even considered this shows in this case that they just don't give a rat's a$$ and is shameful and unacceptable. Take a look at my photo of that piece of chicken...completely dried out and hard and was sitting in whatever container they had for over at least 2 hours. There's no way this should have been been able to sit around so long, and after 1 bite, it wasn't even consumable. Discarded and a waste of almost $5 bucks. The food came out quite fast but if I needed to wait 5 mins more for a nice piece of grilled chicken, I would have been happy to! I'm positive the chicken comes cooked already and they just finish it off or heat it up, but to have a finished product sit around for 1-2 hours and serve it...they're lucky we didn't eat it past a bite. 4/5 Fries and Tots were freshly done (tasted that way) or were kept in a way that made it taste fresh. I think their shakes and fries and possibly their burgers are the best options here. So why the 1 star? I was impressed with most all the things we ordered, but throwing that disgusting chicken sandwich in there that was clearly a piece of chicken jerky and charging money for that lost my whole confidence. Whoever's on duty should have been checking that and trained the staff to rotate and DISCARD old, dried inedible food; the staff wouldn't have eaten that on their break, yet they feel righteous to serve it to a paying patron. If I'm this franchise owner...I'd let some heads roll...

It was the best burger I've had in a long time! Here lately the last burgers we've had at different places were so salty that we couldn't finish them. Today this burger at Mooyah was fantastic and cooked just right! I also ordered a vanilla milkshake and it was very good. Everything was nice and clean. Everyone was nice and friendly. * The only negative; parking is terrible! Everything around the area is all paid parking so "may the odds for ever be in your favor" finding a free open spot. I can promise you this; the next time we are in Ocala and looking for a burger we will definitely be coming back to Mooyah.

We ordered two bacon cheeseburgers one with bacon and added mushrooms and fried onions and one with bacon and mushrooms and NEITHER had what had bacon nor the added mushrooms and fried onion. Pretty sad that they could not get the order straight. I may not be this upset but this isn't the first time that this has happened. We ordered another burger and even though the order was correct the burger was slightly burnt and we had already been annoyed at this point wondering why a company like MOOYAH has such disregard for their customers. We had three orders of fries they were good along with our two sodas and one shake. To be honest I'm not sure that I'm willing to waste anymore money trying this location again. Just passing through and decided to check out a local restaurant in downtown Ocala. Waking in it's…read moreall rather shabby chic with over stuff chairs, crystal chandeliers and white washed tables. Very southern I actually thought I might be in Georgia. Menu isn't too complicated and we were trying to keep this simple so here's what we ordered: Grilled chicken caprese. Just what it says. Layers of mozzarella and sliced tomatoes with grilled chicken on top drizzled with a balsamic reduction. If you want greens there's two pieces for decoration. I enjoyed this dish. Chicken was moist and had great flavor. I do wish there were a few more pieces on it for the price point. I felt I got about a third of the breast. Ivy Caesar Salad: my husband loves Caesar Salads and he said this was just ok. He didn't like that some of the pieces looked old. This salad was fine and not anything special. Raspberry Tea: very sweet with a weird tang. Didn't really seem like tea at all. Wouldn't get it again. Overall this place has great ambience even if it is rather pretentious and over the top. Staff is friendly and food came out at a reasonable amount of time. Not sure if I'd go there again. Lunch is pricey. Without tip this was a $40 meal and that included only one NA drink.

It was early evening and when I walked in I thought the decor was so adorable. Quaint and just really lovely. I was getting a good feeling and wondering why I never had stopped in here before since I love coming downtown and going to different places down here. The whole vibe to me is just very comfortable even though it can get busy there is something that makes you feel calm in this area. We were seated and I looked at the menu wanting steak and even though it was early they didn't have any ( rib eye ) Yes it was on the menu but that was ok, instead I chose a Wam burger and fries. To be honest I wasn't impressed. I asked for medium rare and my burger came out well done. It was a bit flavorless to me and the fries weren't even hot nor crispy. The service was just ok and when we had gone the restaurant hadn't even been very busy. I may give Ivy on the Square another try if I have a good reason. We will see. I wonder what you think.
