In 12 South, the Filling Station is a small little cottage on a side street (right behind Edly's BBQ. There are a few garden tables in front for outdoor seating and 3 or 4 inside. The inside has a bit of a small family-owned bookstore with the beertender standing behind a counter in the back. List is on the wall behind you, written in chalk so it can easily be updated. He blew two kegs while we were there last time and ended up putting on a beautiful hazy IPA from Xul. Beer is divided into styles and is well curated. There is no food, but I can see grabbing a bite at Edly's before and possibly bringing some over to enjoy with your brew. The Filling Station also has a selection of beers for purchase, but I would be more inclined to go over to Craft Brewed on South 8th if you want a better selection.

Liquor Warehouse has a decent price on my favored spirits. I usually purchase a case every couple…read moreof months in order not to have to buy more frequently in smaller amounts. My only real complaint is that the case discount is only 5% as opposed to 10% which seems to be more standard from their competitors. I suppose the argument could be made that tariffs have caused them to lower their discount rather than raising their prices, but if other places can maintain prices AND double the discount, there's no reason Liquor Warehouse can't.
