With two Sonic Drive Thurs very close by each other in this city, this particular Sonic Drive Thru is next door to True Value. Please note that if you try to do mobile ordering and accidently pick the other location you will not get a refund, per a note on the app. My husband, our little girl dog and I decide to stop by this location before leaving Silver City since it was close by the Airbnb that we stayed in. We arrived on a Thursday morning around 9 am because that particular day, corn dogs were only $0.50 (if ordered through the mobile app). It being pretty cheap, we decided to get a few so we could have one for breakfast and then maybe as a snack on our road trip. I ended up purchasing: Corn Dog, $0.50, prior to tax for special promotional price via app- Normally a corn dog cost $1.49, prior to tax, which is not a bad price. I ordered 4 of these. They were warm when we both had one that morning. The other corn dogs we had still tasted just fine later on that day. These corn dogs are a bit oily, which is to be expected, and so I blotted them with the napkins that we got from the server who brought out our order. I like the corn breading around the corn dog and think these are pretty tasty (not good for you though). Soft Pretzel Twist, $1.99 prior to tax- I ordered two of these. My husband and I both like their soft pretzels and think they are a fair price for the size. I just wished there was an option to order their soft pretzel twists without butter brushed on. I like that these pretzels came nice and warm when we go them. ----------------------------- (Total= $6.46 after tax + special promotional price) The employee who brought out our order to our car was very friendly and sweet. She gave us some condiments like mustard and dipping sauce. But as she grabbed them from her apron pocket, she noticed they were dirty with sauce on it. She told us she thinks one of the packets might have broke open and made the mess. She tried to give us the ones that did not have any sauce on it and also gave us a whole bunch of napkins to clean up. She apologized and said she could get us more sauces but we said we were fine and were on our way. My husband, our little girl dog and I enjoyed our food items and are happy with our experience overall. But do want to mention that if you drive a large truck, it may be hard to pull into one of the stalls and see the screen. It may also be a challenge pulling out of one of the stalls and may want to drive to the other side where there is only one side of stalls to pull into instead of 2 so at least you don't have cars that could make it more difficult pulling out later. read more

This place takes way to long for an order than shouldn't take more than 10 minutes. I ordered 2 drinks and we sat there for more than 45 minutes. This place needs to look into better management, more workers, or a more efficient work place. read more

So a year after my previous review nothing has changed for the better. A lot of ordering screens are not working. Sometimes they block off that slot, but usually you just drive up and go to order before realizing no one is going to help you. One time when I did get a "working" screen, I got to the point where I had inserted my credit card and instead of asking me if I wished to tip, it just jumped to TOTAL and thanked me. I apologized to the young man who delivered my order (after scrambling in my car to find money for a decent tip.). He said it does that all the time and the store tells him they're going to "fix it soon". Someone ran into the EXIT sign a few months ago and no one has fixed that ! read more

It's always 50/50 at this location. We usually try to go to the other sonic in town. We usually have issues with slushes being melted or blasts only having the topping but nothing in the middle. Yesterday we stopped by to order two blasts: m&m and Reese's. Looked great so we went home to eat them. Started eating the Reese's and the inside was all m&m with Reese's on the very top. Looks like someone realized they made a mistake and just put Reese's on top to make it look like they made the right blast. read more

This sonic keeps going down hill, All I ordered was 3 easy drinks!! Watwr, sweet tea, and then unsweetened tea with peach-strawberey.. it took 20 mins not even busy and the car hop only brought 2 drinks and laughed about it!! They brought a water and a cherry lime aid, so I had to get out take them that drink and they had fix 2 drinks!!! Stay away they cant even get drinks right!! read more

this sonic has gone down hill in its outer appearance. I am hoping this is not the norm, but their order screens are filthy and they look like they have been that way for awhile. The original owners did a fantastic job of keeping it clean and looking good I have no idea who runs it now. Be better sonic- have some pride. read more

This location has done something wrong on three out of three orders that have been placed. I went here the first time and the order was not done properly. Very little meat on the sandwich ordered and missing the dipping sauce for another item. Called and they offered a replacement of the items. The replacement order was also prepared in a way that made it undesirable. Given that I called and explained that the first two orders had problems I would think that if they cared about customer satisfaction they would have made sure the replacement order was good. Guess not. Don't go to this location. Go to the one on Sheriffs Posse Road. Or take your chances at this location. read more

Used my Sonic app to order ahead. Came out within a few minutes and I was on my way. Great service. I love using the app and getting in and out when I'm in a hurry. Haven't had an issue with a wrong order and I've used the app on many occasions. read more

I have been going to Silver City since I was a baby but I never ate at Sonic. We ordered some grub before we got on the road and I must admit, it was pretty damn good. I had the breakfast burrito with green chili and jalapenos and the tots. read more

I have always enjoyed my slushy experience at the old school Schronic. Not only does it remind me of when everyone used to cruise through downtown Silver City, and turn around though the Schronic loop. But I have always arrived with my order exactly the way I asked. I ordered some 1$ President's day Hot Dogs. I also asked for two Medium Green Apple Slushys. I got home, to find my hot dogs were just right. Yet one of my slushes looked different some how. Took a sip. Taste like something was missing. I know sometimes I don't get the nerds candies on the first drink. They do usually always hit my taste buds on the second drink. Not this one, so I popped off the lid. Low and behold my Green Apple Slush looked like a water slush. Looked under the lid of the other, and yup they had doubled up all the ingredients in one and put none in the other. This probably won't stop me from going to this location. But maybe Cat M., should give lessons in customer service and quality product in service. Cat has the best crew ever. Keep up the good work night shift. Always hungry, Ruben V. read more
