I have quite a few memories of their location on Old Jacksonville, but upon revisiting Tyler, I had to stop at the 5th Street location. You order at the counter where you can get your burgers, sides, and more before getting a buzzer for when your food is ready. As they cook your burger (or whatever you ordered), you are free to get your free cup of their incredible beans. I took a picture of my girlfriend with her beans to send to my parents, that's how culturally important it is to us. That's course one. 10 minutes later, your buzzer rings and you're given a tray with a glorious burger and whatever delectable sides you decided to grab. Their onion rings are always a must. This time around, at the suggestion of my girlfriend, I also got an order of their Fried Green Tomatoes. Something I have never ordered before, but really enjoyed. Compared to FDs, the menu might be a little more sea-inspired and more adventurous, but I think it leads to better, more unique food, especially with offerings like Oyster Rockefeller and a sushi bar. I also know Twelve does a great brunch as well, so keep that on your radar. Ultimately, as the bill came, the price was very manageable even with the alcohol. It's nice that you don't fully have to break the bank to have a nice meal in Tyler thanks to places like Twelve. I rate it a 12/10. Get it? hahahaha...
