I took an old vintage guitar for them to tell me it's warped, damaged, and not worth even keeping. Only for me to sell the guitar at a seperate location for a very hefty price. The staff have all been friendly and helpful, and a visit here is a lot like hanging out with some of my crazier relatives, but in a good way. All that said, while pawn shops can be a great place to get a bargain, always know your prices, it's the only way you know that you're getting a good deal.

The person working (I'm kind of guessing the owner) was really friendly and eager to tell everything that was going on. They were able to offer a cup of coffee (no charge) and let us know that in a couple days they would be up and running behind the counter .... more info to come on those offerings. Now, on the store side of things they had some cook home décor and boutique shop type items(purses and jewelry). Really friendly and easy to work with. Prices were reasonable and the store (even in a little bit of disrepair with some active construction going on) was neat, tidy and well organized. I'm guessing once they get everything finalized it will be full steam ahead - and I'd anticipate good things to come for A Primitive Place.
