I went in for the Matcha and they happened to have a Prickly Pear one. Uufff it was one of the most delicious matchas I've ever had! Highly recommend it!

I visited Sonoran House during their soft opening and got to try a couple things on their limited menu and preview their upcoming menu. The location has a beautiful southwestern chic vibe. I love the duality of having a coffee shop/bakery and bar/full dinner -- you can visit any time of day depending on what you're craving. Plus they have a cold fridge, small grocery section, and local artist goodies -- all perfect for getting a desert-themed gift or unique treat for someone. They have so many great alcoholic drink options and said they would be adding mocktails soon. I went with a 'tried but true' dirty gin martini and tried the truffle fries and chips (both gluten free). I'm super excited to come back and try their girl dinner. I also want to thank the servers, chef, and owners for being so kind to my group. We had a coloring night where we brought our coloring books and supplies and they didn't bat an eye and made us feel very welcomed especially with all our questions about their menu!

Super cool coffee shop offering some truly delicious blends. There's plenty of seating indoors and outdoors, making it a great place to relax. I loved browsing the handmade items from local designers, all inspired by Tucson and the Sonoran Desert. Centrally located with lots of parking.

What an absolutely charming little coffee and gift shop! A friend and I stopped in to catch up, and really enjoyed both the drinks and the curated shop. I got the Cinnamon Orange Chai; it was VERY sweet and tasted like a holiday treat, so it was a nice contrast to the summer heat. We also shared a blueberry jam cruffin, which was phenomenal. Highly recommend the cruffin! The parking and seating are both very limited, so this might not be a place to plan on posting up during peak hours, but at while we were there (2:00-4:00pm) it was a quiet and idyllic place to unwind.

Such a beautiful place but I was very disappointed. I am always looking for a good matcha and this place had one of the worst ones I've ever had. It had no sweetness and was when bitter. Their service was good but I wish they should have informed me that their matcha is unsweetened...

Today I stopped by to pick up some gifts for the holiday. They have so many local artists with great ideas. I got there early and found parking.

Sweet and simple space that I love , it's so well decorated in a south western vibe. Talk about local support! Mini shops of local creators all around including snacks, today I kept it simple with a drinkie and treat :) yum Staff is always kind. Bathrooms clean. Out and indoor seating. Some parking in front but limited, off street parking in the nearby neighborhood available

"Man it's hot. It's like Africa hot. Tarzan couldn't take this kind of hot". - Biloxi Blues It is a scorching hot day here in Tucson with temps reaching 106. Normally I would never visit two coffee shops in the same day but I was dying of thirst. Every time I spot a Prickly Pear latte in Tucson I get excited. We just don't have this back in the East Coast or anywhere else for that matter. The two sweetest talented baristas took their time asking questions since I didn't want a cold foam on top. They wanted to make sure they can make it as close to how they originally serve it so I would like my drink. I didn't want them to see my reaction on my first sip in case I didn't like it so I did it outside!! OMG!! I absolutely loved it, so unique and yummy. I had to go back in and tell one of the barista that it was BOMB ASS AMAZING!! Will definitely return when I visit my son again. Next time I want to try their Agave latte. Highly recommend this location.

Gluten Free Muffin, I've had banana, apple, blueberry - all delicious.

We LOVE Sonoran House, both locations are great. Best coffee in Tucson! As people with gluten and dairy sensitivities, this coffee shop totally caters to our wants and needs. They offer great flavor combinations in their lattes, we usually get half sweet though because I don't like sweet coffee. Pair that with very kind baristas and an inviting ambiance, Sonoran House is good vibes. I also appreciate their local artist crafts you can buy, they have definitely come in handy for birthdays. What's better than gifting someone a little piece of Tucson?

One of my favorite coffee shops in Tucson ! This shop is dedicated to supporting small local businesses. You'll find unique to Sonoran house lattes , teas , and yummy coffee concoctions.

Great neighborhood spot: warm, energetic restaurant, with a huge bar. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful.

I don't find a listing for the Sam Hughes location, so am posting my review here. This review is for the new location at 2513 E 6th St. Dining at Sonoran House made me want to move to the neighborhood! It seems like a great place to meet-up with friends. We met friends there last week, but all of us live up North. We had to wait for a table (they don't take reservations and the place was hopping!), so we sat at the bar to have a drink while we waited. The bar is huge, with lots of seating--and lots of taps! They have numerous beers on tap, and even a few wines. Beyond the taps, though, they have great selections of cocktails, wines (by the glass and bottle) and beers. I tried the tap red (bartender gave me a taste), but not being a huge Barbera fan, I passed on that, and went for a glass of a more full-bodied red blend that she recommended. One of my friends was curious about the sparkling wine on tap, so she got a taste of that. It was sweeter than she likes, so she chose one of the other 'by the glass' options and enjoyed it. All-in-all, a friendly helpful bar experience. We ordered a flatbread appetizer to share while we waited, and, as they were bringing it, the host came to tell us our table was ready (faster than predicted), so we moved over--and they moved the tab with us. Concerned that the bartender would be taken care of, one friend left a tip there, but the table waitress told us that they pool all of their tips, so no worries. Food was delicious: everyone agreed that we'll come back. I chose the Sonoran Shrimp Cocktail as my meal: unique, fresh, delicious and light--with a good kick! It was plenty for me with a side salad. Other dishes were delicious as well: at our table there was also an Ahi Sandwich (huge, and reportedly delicious), and a tasty 'Pescado' (salmon was his choice) and a meal-sized salad. We all agreed, we'll be going back! And the host mentioned that they do plan to take reservations in the future, so if that's a deal-breaker, it may not be for long.

I got the salted caramel cold brew and it was delicious. The location is right by university so it's a great central location. The coffee shop has curated gifts from local vendors and so many things that represent Arizona and the southwest. They also had a great selection of pastries and plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. Such a great place to have coffee and even work remotely. The service was great. The staff is very sweet and friendly and the prices are fair. Plenty of parking spaces as well.

    Strawberry Matcha

I popped in here on a Saturday morning. Nice, welcoming vibe. It's a Market and coffee/tea shop. They have a grab and go refrigerated area where you can grab yogurt, water and a few other goodies. At the counter, you can order muffins/treats as well as their specialty coffee and tea drinks. The baristas were amazing made great menu recommendations. Both very Bubbly/welcoming. I decided to go with the strawberry Matcha and it did not disappoint! They have all kinds of little trinkets for sale inside, including plants, shirts, stickers, and other knickknacks. The Only complaint is it's tiny. So there isn't a lot of seating. And the parking lot is large, but only limited spaces reserved for the actual coffee shop. I had to wait a few minutes for someone to leave to be able to park and go inside. I definitely plan to come back and try the lavender latte that was on special.
