Pastry selection varies, but they know each item and utensils are provided at the end of the bar. I had an iced mocha latte (12oz) for $7.27 post tax. ^^ Like other reviewers say, the flavor of the coffee is great! The one large ice cube is lovely for keeping the drink not watery, but it doesn't make your drink feel COLD cold if that's something you prefer. This is a smooth cup of coffee, from a surprising location. I ordered an iced hazelnut latte and could not have been more happy with the finished product. At Crema, they use one big ice cube that resembles one found in a whiskey on the rocks. A large part of me thinks that the finished product can be attributed to the fact that virtually nothing is watered down. The barista was incredibly kind and inviting from the moment I walked in to the moment I left. Because of this, I can get past the sparse seating options that made it feel a little hollow. When I inquired about the pricing, since it was around $6 on the menu, it turns out I was nickel and dimed for anything I changed in the drink. Small coffee shop off the Ina and intersection. It's very moody as the interior has a dark cast to it. It has a small menu of drinks and a few baked items you can purchase, in addition to some merchandise like tumblers and T-shirts, as well as the artwork on the wall, some postcards, and cards and such that look as though they're from local artists. They have table seating and a smaller area with couch seating as well. The bathroom was clean enough, and the music plays very faintly in the shop. There's also a table of games which you can choose to play with. I was able to get some remote work done there with a friend and had a caramel chai. I drove to Tucson for work one morning and needed some caffeine once I got into town. I stopped by Crema Coffee on my way to my hotel. I was greeted immediately. The cafe is spacious with plenty of seating and a laid back vibe. The staff was friendly and helpful and answered my many questions before finally settling on my go-to, an oat milk latte with honey and cinnamon powder. I also got a pastry that the barista recommended. I believe it was gluten-free, which I appreciate. I love when coffee shops offer gluten-free and/or vegan options. The coffee was very good. There were not enough tables to seat a group of five. A lot of people were there with their laptops, which of course is the coffee shop vibe. They have local art on the wall for sale. They also have AZ lemonade stand bottled and ready for sale. I will say it takes time here. Not as fast and efficient like stupid Starbucks but again it's local and it's all quality ingredients. They have lemon loafs and other baked goods. I got the lemon blueberry mint tea. Not the fanciest coffee shop in town, but great people, reasonable prices and good product. Not a big menu of frilly flavors, they stick to the basics. The space for dining-in is good sized but I would consider it somewhat spartan. Our friends that were with us had a regular drip coffee and REALLY appreciated the free refills. We sat and drank our beverages and they topped off on our way out the door. I had a Cortado, not my usual drink. It was very good, but you have to like the bitterness of the espresso. We bought a bag of beans which they ground up nicely for us. When we brewed them the next day I would put them in the "good but not great" category. Today was my first time trying Crema and I have mixed feelings. When we first walked in, the folks behind the counter greeted us and we approached the counter. But there was a table set up by the entrance that was backlit from the sun coming in and had two people sitting at it. Neither of them said anything, so being unsure of what the booth was for, it felt really weird. Was it part of the coffee shop? Another vendor? No idea. Being the closest to the door, a greeting would go a long way. The baristas were very nice and were kind to an older woman who took a while to order ahead of us. They were also kind during our order. But the place seems very....sterile and doesn't have a normal coffee shop feel. I noticed the baristas measuring the flavors and the shots verrrrryyyyy closely. Like holding them at eye level to ensure they were correct. Not sure if they're in training or if this place is just horribly micromanaged. The other weird thing was the sizes. 12oz or 20oz....but both come with the same 2oz of espresso and one large cube of ice. So you're basically drinking 16oz of nothing but your milk of choice if you get the larger size. For $7, I can get a much stronger 20oz coffee elsewhere. As other reviews have stated, Crema felt very meh to me. In atmosphere and flavor. It's a shame this side of town doesn't have a local vibe coffee shop. read more

I love the vibe of this place. I'm pretty sure the owners are a couple who run it themselves. I have been in a few times now and they are always working the place with tons of pride. People come in here often and I mean regulars. Friends, neighbors, the post man. You get the gist. The local flavor spills into each cup. Prepared with intent, this coffee is spectacular! The cappuccino was large and rich. The seating is great. Plenty of tables. A few couches in the back and a coffee table make a lovely lounge area. Crema Coffee is a solid coffee shop on the Northwest side of town. They have a simple and straightforward coffee menu. So if you're looking for a Dutch Bros or Starbucks vibe, this is not the place. I ordered a cold brew to go and it was served with large square ice cubes, which I really appreciated! They melt a lot slower, therefore your coffee doesn't get diluted with melted ice water. Their cold brew packs a punch! Very bold and flavorful. Next time I'm in the area, I'll definitely order a cortado. If you know my reviews, you know I love coffee and I love customer service. Crema Coffee does both at the highest level. I discovered this place by accident one morning when the coffee house I went to was far too crowded. I brought up Yelp, saw the stellar reviews and decided to give it a try. That first morning I met one of the owners, Aaron, who was friendly and patient with all my coffee questions. Eventually, I tried just a standard cuppa joe. If you truly want to know good coffee from blah you have to drink it black. I was incredibly impressed. Aaron schooled me on the beans which were from Papua New Guinea and the brew was outstanding. I rarely find coffee I haven't tried in one shape or another and this simple little cup blew my mind. Those Papua New beans were so good, I bought some whole ones from Aaron to take home. I'm a writer and reader, so any coffee place I frequent must not only have great java, but be a place I'm comfortable hanging out in for a while. Crema is it. While its outer appearance in a strip mall leaves much to be desired, once inside it goes from plain to better the further back you go. Upfront there are average tables and chairs, but toward the back is a lovely couch and sitting area. The WiFi is strong and ambiance mellow. Perfect place to sip and read. I've been back several times since that first morning, and Crema is always the same - friendly and fantastic. Any time I'm on the northwest side Crema is my go-to coffee place. Coffee is good right?! Especially when it's a local brew! And guess what... They have comfy chairs! This is one of my big pet peeve's with many coffee shops: there's nowhere to sit and really relax. Yes I want tables and chairs for laptop work; but sometimes it's nice to have a couch or comfy chairs to sit on when you want to visit with someone or relax just to read a book with a cuppa Jo. The coffee is good people! I had a mocha latte. And my other half had a chai latte. She swears hands-down it's the best chai latte she's had ever. My mocha was smooth, thick, and creamy. The owner here asks which flavors you want to come forward: milk, coffee, sweet, mocha and so on. He even offered to remake it if it isn't quite right. We were able to sit and relax and visit. Not to mention enjoy a good cup of hot coffee and a delicious cup of chai. Oh, I do believe the prices on the menu board have gone up so much since the postings here before. My 20 ounce latte with a shot of mocha ran close to six dollars. But it's better than most of the lattes I've had around. And I like supporting our local businesses. Come and sit and enjoy. I have tried this place a couple times before, my most recent visit being yesterday. The other people in my group thought their drinks were good. I had just plain coffee, & I would have liked it to have been stronger. But there is only 1 type of coffee - no choice of roasts or strengths like other coffee shops have. But the real issue was the service. While we all got what we had ordered, it took a long time. 20 minutes wait for 3 drinks, with 2 of those drinks being self serve drip coffee (we weren't given coffee cups until the last drink was ready) is excessive. There were 3 people behind the counter & maybe 8 customers in the shop including my group. I don't understand what took so long, but it reflects poorly on the business. read more
