I also took lessons with Kelly for the father daughter dance at my wedding and it was just a blast! My dad and I had a ton of fun and brought all the smiles to the dance floor for the wedding. 10/10 would go to Kelly for all the dance needs because she is a complete rockstar.

Step by Step Dance Studio has welcomed, taught, encouraged, and grown many dancers that have taken their new found skill in every direction from the simplicity of learning for a wedding or cruise, all the way through to winning national championships in a dance competition. Step by Step has existed for the purpose of meeting students needs at all levels, including the needs of simply finding a new activity to do together! We welcome all left feet, all rhythm challenged leads, and all 'follows' that have a hard time learning to 'follow'! Dancing will teach you more than just how to move your feet, or stay in time with the music. Dance will help you learn a bit more about yourself, aid you in connecting better with others, and strengthen existing relationships, not to mention introduce you to a host of new ones! Ballroom, swing, country, tango and salsa are all classes that we offer and teach in both group or private settings. Wedding choreography and dance lesson for families of the bride and groom are also hugely popular and something that our staff is extremely talented in. So call us and we'll help you schedule your first lesson!! Our instructors can help you overcome any dance fears or inhibitions including two-left feet!

Solomon's Dance Studio is what is known as a recreational dance studio. This means they do not…read moreemphasize technique, instead they focus on preparing the students for their recital in the spring. This is not a pre-professional school, and your child will not be prepared to go into dance just from taking classes here unless they are profoundly gifted and highly motivated. Often the dance moves are technically inappropriate for the students because they have not been taught the basic technique that under-grids the maneuvers. Although they do "ballet" it is really more like jazz. You should be aware that the recital is the entire focus of this studio. Starting in September or October the classes will begin learning the choreography and will spend seven to eight months learning their dances, of which each class will have two, and some will have three. Costumes are ordered in December and recital fees are paid usually in February. A video will be made by the teachers and assistants available for purchase in February or March that students can use at home to help them practice their choreography. The recitals have been performed at Racine Christian Church because they have a large stage and auditorium. They are also filmed and DVDs can be purchased at the recital, delivered usually in July. The studio is a very family-values place which will provide a fun, safe, dance experience. The students are cheerfully taught, and each class has one or two older students who help out with the younger ones. No uniforms are worn, instead children are encouraged to wear something they like, as long as its appropriate to dance in. Shoes are required and are purchased by style in the fall to match what they will need for their recital in the spring. A used /free box is maintained that parents are allowed to go shoe shopping in to save costs.

In addition to teaching dance skills, Solomon's concentrates on helping grow their students by teaching them to respect and to be respectable. They focus on fun, age-specific dance instruction that's never either inappropriate or competition-driven. Bottom line: Solomon's focuses on turning out young ladies and young gentlemen who can dance, rather than 'Cheerios'-style dance squad acolytes - and they love it! From a proud Dance Dad.

Reading alot of the comments from others, really bothered us as from the first visit, we felt like we were family and was treated that way. We had been owners at another local resort in Branson and at first was treated great and then once we signed, forget it. Our grandkids love this place and even my 11 yr old grandson stated, everyone here is so friendly and if you need help, they are there. Grandkids always asking when we are heading back. Been members for around 3 years now and have stayed at the hotel and "The Ridges". Never had an issue. We have ate at the restaurant, attended shows and the kids have enjoyed the pool and activities, as well as mini golf. We have already made reservations for Thanksgiving weekend as we know most places shut down after Labor Day, but we have our kitchen to cook and we buy groceries and drinks for late evening time and love sitting on the deck. We have stayed at the Escondido location and the folks there were just as friendly and helpful. Total turn around from our other membership. We recommend the Welk resort and it may not be for everyone, but it is for our family.

But, I can't believe how far $250 a night got us in this resort. The suite was incredible clean and spacious. Everything seemed relatively updated, maintained, and very clean. The resort grounds were immaculate. The lodge/style resort rooms looked great. The adult-ish pool area looks much better than the online pictures. In fact, we commented that this was the one resort we've ever stayed in where the pictures didn't do the room and grounds justice. Most places filter and photoshop the crap out of their pictures. The staff and clientele were polite and friendly. The strip is nearby, if tourist traps are your thing, but the resort feels secluded. The only thing I can think to comment on is that there really isn't a view, which is no big deal. I think that's why it's priced slightly lower than the other resorts that have views. The grounds are nice enough to look at and the aforementioned aspects are more important. We'd stay here again. It was a nice surprise.

Reminded me of my Grandparents and family singing alongs at our get togethers. The Stampede was very entertaining! Loved how the North and South duel it out - we were North! We won!!! As for the dinner... that startled me when our waiter just threw down a small rotisserie chicken onto my plate. Was not expecting that! Felt really barbaric... but I guess that's a cowboys life back in the day, around the campfire lol. I would recommend going. Fun time! She chatted with us at the beginning of the show and we were in the first row which I thought would be a great seat! You can order drinks via a QR code and someone from the bar area will deliver them and they will check everyone's ID no matter how old you are. The drink was not good. Tasted very watered down for lack of flavoring and alcohol. You do get a non alcoholic drink included I ordered the unsweetened tea and it took her a little bit to get it because it's not one of the pitchers they keep handy. She refilled everyone else's drink somewhat regularly and when I asked for a refill she had to serve dessert first which I understand the schedule but then it was pretty much almost towards the end of the show before I got a refill. Once they start serving the food the show is happening and as our server is quickly serving food down the row she is saying something about napkins covering your plate and before I can register what is happening I feel all of this sand hit me in my hair, on my shoulder and in my food. She knew when it was coming and it only happened once during the show but I feel like that was something she could have mentioned when she had our full attention before the show started. Myself and 3 other people in the row needed new plates of food. I know it's hard to make food for that many people all at once but the food was just ok. The chicken was good and the soup was ok. Pork was dry and corn was very chewy. As for the show the horse riding was fine. I think skeeter made the show with her comedy and I liked when they started the competition portion. Overall I wouldn't do it again and may not even suggest it to people to see unless you think it's something your kids would really love.
