This has been a regular stop of mine for several years. Recently, they added a relaxation therapist -- JoJo. She was extremely thorough, pleasant and patient. Any questions were well answered. Because she takes into account all senses, the end result is very positive. Once JoJo gets to know me a bit better, I'm certain the results will be even better. I was in town for about 10 days and decided I needed a mani/pedi and on another occasion a wash and blow dry. All I can say in NO - I got the mani and pedi and two days later I had 2 ingrown toenails and the clear coat they put on my nails was off. The young girl doing my mani/pedi talked constantly. Next I called to ask for a wash and blow dry,I was given one name and whenI got there someone named JoJo washed and tried to blow dry my hair, I gave her very explicit directions as to what I wanted and what I knew my hair could be styled like. I left before it was done,paid her and thanked her but went home and wet my head and did it myself. Just not up to snuff for my liking. I can not recommend this salon. read more

So I was visiting this town for work and decided to get a haircut, this was the only place that had any reviews online so I decided to give it a try. pros: they took me as a walk in, the staff was very nice and easy to talk to. Cons: it cost me $18 for a DRY trim. You can definitely find a cheaper cut elsewhere in town im sure. I originally was going to give them more stars but as I lived with my haircut I realized I was actually kind of upset. I gave my dresser one caveat, I wanted to keep my length. beyond that she had full creative license with my hair. She took off at least 3.5 inches, which imo is not keeping my length. I keep running my hair through my hands and finding a small pang when i reach the end of it. anyone who has had this experience knows what Im talking about. Love this place! Katie cuts my hair and I have curly hair...not a lot of stylists know how to deal with curly hair but Katie is great! The staff is very nice and the scheduling is usually pretty flexible. I've had a few of the other stylists cut my hair and they have done a great job too. The owner of the salon is rude and highly unprofessional!! They talk about there clients in the public and say negative things and repeat conversations said in the salon. Nothing is confidential! The owner is self employed and can say what she wants, when she wants, and to who she wants. Words straight from the owner... Mary! I was traveling for work and was asked if I had gone to New York to get my hair cut (apparently there is a special hair cut for curly hair that runs $500). Seriously. When I arrived for my pedicure appointment, I stood at the front desk for almost 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged my presence. Several employees saw me standing there, but did not come over to me. When the person in charge finally did, I was told it would be a few minutes. Ten minutes later I was again told it would be just a few minutes. 30 minutes after my appointment time, I was finally in the chair. Things were going fine, and then we got to the part where warm towels are put on your legs. I was told they'd be on about 10 minutes...it was probably closer to 30!! Finally got the massage and polish on....although I don't know how she managed because the lighting is awful. I was in there for 90 minutes....for a pedicure....longer than it should take for a manicure and pedicure both!! And to add insult to injury...$42.50!! I know this going in, but though that for this much I'd be treated better. I will never go back! read more
