There are white walls with two brick pillars in the middle of the restaurant. I ordered the Capitano pizza, which was absolutely delicious. Organic Finnish dry-cured ham, mozzarella, smoked cheese, and almond green pesto. Crust was incredibly soft and chewy, which I think is key in any Neopolitan pizza. The flavors from the sauce and cheese were incredible. The pesto was mixed with the red sauce perfectly, slightly sweet taste. The ham was good, slightly salty but not too much. I forget what my friend got but it had salami and looked great. I included a picture. Service was excellent. Waitress spoke perfect English (I think most people in Helsinki do). Even though it wasn't the best pizza I've ever had, it was very good, and I'm going to give 5 stars because I think they deserve it. 4.5/5 if I'm being technical. I would go back without a doubt if I lived here.

The reason why I'm not giving 5 stars is because of the service. I know, I know, I hear it all the time: Finnish service isn't great, so don't expect anything else. But I don't know...I just don't think the two waiters were attentive. I understand they had a lot of hungry customers to feed, but being a single customer, I would have enjoyed a little extra attention. (This is at least what I've been taught, when I learned how to be a good waiter back in the days...) In other words, I just didn't feel like they cared about me as a customer. Perhaps even too fast as one got the feeling that we should eat quickly to make room for the crowd waiting for a table. The crust was nice and thin, crispy but not burned. The mozzarella and tomato had some nice features, like some grilled wild garlic, but it was a bit of a mush. Overall I would say that the food was good and OK for the price (13-16€). What can I say about the drinks, not much as I was not the one ordering, so I did not get a peak at the menu. I did see some nice specialty beers on the tables next to us, so their selection extends beyond a normal archipelago cafes. The service was friendly, but hurried. The setting is very nice and upscale and the service was good. I had half of a large pie with pepperoni slices (some places in Europe call it Salami) and bacon. The bacon was not cooked to the crisp I normally like but was still good. Additionally, the crust of the pie was not cooked to my desirable crisp, either. However, these are personal preferences and do not take away from the pizza being good. Good flavor, good cheese to sauce ratio and a good portion size for lunch. The pie crust is very thin so if you are hungry I would recommend a full pie to yourself.
