Given his stamp approval I hired Eagle Appliance to repair my washing machine that wouldn't drain last year and yesterday he fixed my dryer that stopped working. I found Steve to be extremely knowledgeable, professional and responsive. Both repairs he did promptly and his invoices were very very fair. As often as one appliance or another goes on the blink, it's nice to have someone that wants to fix your appliance at an affordable price, versus others that exaggerate problems to pad invoices and maximize profits. It's a good idea to ask for Steve's cell # when you schedule repair, that way communicating with him is easy when he is busy out in the field working. In the case of T&S appliance repair, it most certainly is. My LG refrigerator died over the holidays in 2020. I was desperate to find a repair shop, but everybody I called was either fully booked for weeks or refused to work on LG products. Shannon with T&S saw a post of mine on Eagle County Classifieds, and actually reached out to me with an offer to take a look at it. He first contacted me on December 31st, and we arranged for him to come look at it on Monday, January 4th (delayed bc of the holiday weekend). He discovered that the compressor was shot, a common problem with LG appliances apparently, and advised me to contact LG directly to obtain the new parts. I did as he asked, and LG sent over an authorization to perform work to him immediately. He told me as soon as the compressor arrived he would schedule a time to come over and install it for $700.... Days passed, and I heard nothing from him. Days turned into weeks, and I still heard nothing from him. I called/texted/fb messaged him 1x per week throughout all of January and most of February, to no avail. I know for a FACT that he received all of my messages, because FB notifies you when the recipient has viewed a message. I can only assume he ignored all of my voicemails as well. I was incredibly patient, polite, and kind in all of my messages, simply asking for an update on whether or not the part had arrived yet. It has now been exactly 8 weeks that I have been without a working refrigerator, 6 weeks since he stopped communicating with me. I called LG and was informed that he never even submitted the paperwork to order the new compressor parts. If you want to waste 2 months of your time and energy dealing with a company that over-promises, under-delivers, and is completely incapable of basic communication, then T&S appliance repair is perfect for you! The ONLY reason I'm giving him 2 stars instead of 1, is because he was literally the only person in the entire valley who came to diagnose the fridge. The carpet was damp so we know they were "cleaned", but the quality of the work was terrible. I ended up having to purchase a handheld carpet and upholstery cleaner to do the stairs, and that little machine (plus about 2.5 hours of effort) did way better than Mr. Vac. Photos in this post is one of the remnant stains after Mr. Vac "cleaning" but before I cleaned the stairs myself. Also pictured is the dirty water reservoir from my machine after cleaning just 3 of the 18 stairs. You'd think after a "professional" job, there wouldn't be this much reserve dirt in the carpet...right? In future we will always recommend against Mr. Vac for carpet cleaning of our homes.
