The PLM technician, Philip, traveled to Vail to fix a ten-year old GE Dryer. He quickly diagnosed the problem and ordered the required parts. He returned the next day to install. The dryer is now operating as it was when new. Travel, labor and part charges were very reasonable for the high Rockies. All the PLM staff were polite and anxious too please. Dreadful. PLM Appliance Repair was contracted by my home warranty company to repair my refrigerator. It took them 1 week to get to my home and the cursory analysis took about 5 minutes. Philip then took another week to report the results and order the necessary part (which was then shipped to him). When I called to complain about his slow and unprofessional response he told me he would not come back to my home because "I was entitled". We called this company in March to have our broken oven looked at. They came, ordered us a thermostat and said they would be back out to install it. It is now October and my calls go unanswered. We paid a couple hundred bucks for a stranger to come scoot our oven around a little and then ghost us. Save your money. read more

Warning - dishonest business owners. Randi and her husband came out to fix a dishwasher, took $540 to order the replacement part, and after three months of being unable to source the part and unresponsive to update requests, finally agreed to refund the money. Twice "the check is in the mail," and twice it never arrived. They will not return phone calls, and I was able to get the part myself in about seven days. It took another 3-4 months to get the refund after they promised to do it. I would call get voicemail, was hung up on once, and called from different phone numbers to get them to answer. I paid for PLM to repair my refrigerator on April 11th. I contacted them multiple times, finally talked with them and was told parts would be in April 30th and service would be scheduled asap. Do not bother calling them. They attempted to fix my oven and charged me for the part and full repair before it was completed. Once they arrived, a month later with the part, they installed it and determined the part was not correcting the problem. They apologized and said they will return the part and I was told a refund in full would be issued. PLM misdiagnosed a broken refrigerator, made me wait a couple of weeks for the part that was supposed to repair it, never once updated me about the status unless I called them, and has not refunded me for an unused $287 refrigerator part despite saying they would. I had to call to request the refund, and called 2-3 more times and sent an email. I eventually disputed the credit card charge since they kept saying they would issue the refund but it has not happened. read more
