This place has a variety of smoothie and bowl options. I ordered simple, but the basic option was certainly good enough. The berries tasted fresh, and the hemp granola had a satisfying crunch, and the whole thing was plenty flavorful. These things are never cheap, but at least the smaller of the two sizes came in under $10 (even though it isn't filled to the brim, the larger size seemed too much for one person). They are big on putting honey on top, which I am very leery of because I get a bad reaction to it sometimes, but in this case it was just delicious. If you don't like talking or interacting with the public, don't get a job behind the register in a restaurant. We walked up to the register, the only people in the restaurant...Not a peep from the cashier...My wife, in an effort to get some clarification of the menu, which is slightly intimidating to a new customer, said "This is our first time here..." She gave us a very cursory description of the bowls and not much more. We thanked her when we got our food and no your welcome or come again were offered. The smoothie was good, as was my wife's bowl. That said, its more akin to breakfast or desert than to a lunch. $15 is a lot of money for a 16 oz smoothie and a small bowl of fruit and the fact that we had to prod and cajole words out of the cashier only made it worse. read more

There was one instance when I went up to ask a question - we made eye contact, I smiled at her and she turned around and proceeded to re-stack some bowls and lids. In addition, Google maps says there's free Wi-Fi there but there was not Wi-Fi when I got there. I would go back and get some food to go, but would never again sit and eat there. Ok, this place is great. We love it. But I want to throw out a tip that I've also heard from others on. That they make as an option a bowl half the size and half the price. There have been times that I liked the idea of a bowl, but the fact that the price was around 8 dollars, (I could nearly eat at Olive Garden lunch for that) was disheartening. I was very excited when Soul Bowlz opened up. I love fruit no matter what form it comes. The bowls were beautiful and delicious the attitude not so much. I walk in around lunch time there is 1 table of 6 people sitting already served their bowl. 1 lady waiting on a bowl. Not what I would call busy. I take a long look at the menu each bowl has a cutie name like mind, body, spirit etc They all sound delicious. I am greeted by a young woman with a brusque "can I help you?" No hello, how are you, welcome to soul bowls have you been here before?, any questions about the menu?. No none of the gratuity extended by a new business to a customer. I had lots of questions about ingredients only to be met with irritation that I had the audacity to question what the ingredients were that I would be putting in my mouth and body. I was very curious as to what all the "blends" were so of course I started asking questions as to what this is and that. On one menu there was a Graviola blend, Acerola blend and a Pitaya blend and I wanted to know what is in the "blend" so I asked about them only to get a curt response as to what they tasted like as in tropical or tart etc. So again I asked what is in the blend and the response was "these are my recipes" it was then I realized I was talking to the owner and the whole time I was thinking "Well this young employee is having a bad day" I was a new customer who was served a bad attitude and it cost me $8.00. Another thing that was not cool I asked if the hemp granola was grain free and she told me it was but it had oats in it and the last time I checked oats are a grain.
