Push aside any stereotypes you may have when you read the word psychic. Melissa is not one of "them." I unfortunately was very disappointed with my reading. For a psychic medium, I was not told anything about my past or future and had no one come through 'from the other side'. My entire 30 minutes was talking about my energy and chakras. In the beginning said I had no questions and was very open to hearing anything she could sense, but after 20 minutes of only hearing about how my energy will affect future situations, I asked specifically what she could tell me about my love life. I've had a few readings with Melissa and I thought she was amazing and incredibly helpful and intuitive. I was originally planning on doing one reading with her about a specific issue and after the first one, I immediately booked a 90 min session with her, and will be continuing with her on a regular basis. Responding to the previous review someone left - She does weave in some life coaching aspects to her reading. I felt it was an accurate and intuitive read on my personality, situation, as well as things that I could work on to improve my life, make decisions, heal trauma and get unstuck - but it was a lot more deep and spot on than working with a life coach or therapist would be...so yes, I agree it's not the type of reading thats like "this will happen to you in x amount of time" which I don't find to be all that helpful anyways. I would rather have someone help me uncover roadblocks and create new patterns that will serve me in my life - not spout out random things that might happen in the future which feels very surface to me, and isn't very useful in the long term. I've had a lot of readings with various intuitive and mediums, and worked with numerous coaches and find each intuitive has a different approach on how they do a reading, and some I connected with and some I didn't. If I could give more than five stars I would give a million. I recently hired Melissa to do a group reading for myself and two other close family members. We all had been through a lot in 2020 and really needed to have a getaway trip to reset individually and also come together and support one another, through deep conversation, laughs and of course a few drinks LOL. I had a FaceTime reading with Melissa a few days ago, and I went in with high expectations after reading her great Yelp reviews. This was not my first psychic reading in general, but it was my first with her. She's very kind, welcoming, and makes you feel comfortable during the reading. This was by no means a bad reading, but it also didn't amaze me. The best way to put it is, what I got out of the reading was not really what I was looking for. I opted for a 45 minute reading, which was timed down to the minute. She calls you right on time, and starts off by explaining the process of the reading and then tries to get a sense of who you are (which does count toward your time). She gives some introductory thoughts about what you may be going through, and then asks you for specific questions. One thing I found interesting was that she seems to be more of a psychic therapist, or a life coach. The majority of time spent during my reading involved Melissa giving me life tips, specific to my situation. Although I do believe that she nailed some accurate aspects on my personality, I was a little disappointed that the reading focused more on generic life tips rather than specific occurrences in my life/future. By this, I mean that she told me what to do to achieve what I want, but was slightly vague about specifics such as when things will happen, what will happen, and who will be in my life. At the end of your reading, she emails you a recording of your session as well as notes/drawings she makes for you during the reading. Melissa is a good choice if you are looking to gain some clarity, or are not sure what you should do about a certain situation. I was looking forward to this reading based on all of the excellent reviews, especially in NC since there aren't many, and was disappointed to receive a typical psychic reading from someone who isn't the real deal. I actually laughed at myself for spending so much money and getting so excited; I felt foolish. The entire time was filled with "fluff" (a lot of time is spent on how she works, what her process is, what she's about to do and why, yadda yadda - while the clock is ticking away) and when it's not filled with fluff, she is asking for clarifications or answers. Today was probably the first time I'd ever broken down in front of a stranger. People can say what they want about psychics, but you know in your heart when it's the real deal and myself, along with 2 other people, definitely felt it in our hearts today. Believe it or not, I have had over 20 readings with Melissa over the past 6 years and I cannot tell you how impactful and beneficial the readings I have had with her have been.
