I know paying in person reduces the risk of fraud. They must have been burned several times. I won't lie, I tried to find another place to get the roofing tiles. I didn't want to make the 1hr+ round trip to pay for the order. When I did finally show up to pay for the order, it took approximately an hour to get the order processed and paid for. That is not from waiting in line. I walked up to the counter in an empty store. Not sure why it took sooooo long to just pay for an order. I had even brought in a printout of the email quote with all the numbers. So it turned into 2 hours errand just to pay for the tiles. You can see why I looked for an alternative. But, in the end, they delivered the tile I needed on the day they said it would. It took 10 days to get the delivery, but it came when they said with the product I needed.

The ABT designers helped us figure out the best use of the space and developed a clear plan with recommendations for materials. We visited the ABT showroom a few times and they patiently showed us samples and answered all our questions. They came to our home, too. The people who executed the plan were excellent in many ways. First, they were competent and made many practical suggestions that improved the plan. Second, they were skilled tradesmen who cared about our satisfaction; they wanted us to have great bathrooms and came back a few times to be sure that we do. Third, they were all extremely professional, trustworthy people that we were happy to have in our home. In fact, a few times they worked when we were out of town and it went fine. The framing was sloppy, out of plumb, and required a ton of rework to finish the work on the interior. The attitude from the second crew was poor. However, the first crew did marvelous work and cleaned up after themselves. So, it really depends on who is sent out. Hit or miss.

Since I have a…read moresmall truck that only holds 1/2 ton at a time comfortably they let me take 1/2 ton and come back for the other 1/2 ton (same day) and charge me the less expensive 1 ton rate instead of 1/2 ton rate x 2. Most recently I wanted the 3/8 inch which they told me comes in a minimum of 10 tons delivered. I felt like it was a reasonable price for an enormous amount of rock, especially delivered. I was happy with the delivery and quality of material.
