Kyle was unprofessional, showing up 2 hours later than the time he requested and not bringing the equipment with him that he had promised. He was also rude to both my parents and our guests. He complained constantly about everything. He even sent rude text messages to my friends correcting their spelling of band names they requested - who does that? I could have forgiven all this if he had been good at his job. He totally messed up the transition between songs during our ceremony. It couldn't have been more abrupt. He also insisted on playing all of these terribly mash-ups that he must have put together himself that nobody could possibly dance to instead of the songs that we were requesting. I don't want to make a laundry list of complaints I just want to warm others to look elsewhere for a DJ. I'm sure they are all better than Kyle.

Kyle provided the music for our ceremony at Beacon Hill Park and immediately after had to rush to our reception location to set up since our reception venue had tight time restrictions for set up. (He was not allowed to set up before the ceremony since it's a restaurant open for lunch). This only gave him about 2ish hours to get there and set up. We were quite concerned but he was quite confident that it could be done. Of course, it was all done when we got there (lights, speakers, and all) and I would have been fine if it was a bit behind schedule considering the circumstances. I had a list of songs I wanted to use and of course he was able to play all the unusual songs I had requested during the ceremony as well as most if not all the songs I requested during the reception. Some may say I was quite specific since I even had a list of certain genre of songs I wanted during entrance, cocktail hour,dinner time, and others for the dance portion and he follow through 100%. He was also our emcee which I fear would be impersonal but I wanted all my guests to enjoy themselves and he did an overall GREAT job. No awkwardness at all. I must also commend Kyle because he had no hesitation when we requested he be present for our unorganized rehearsal the day before the wedding and we are glad he did because it was helpful to learn our timing and he offered suggestions as well. He also took his time to contact our venue about set up and things he needed, one less thing I needed to worry about. I am also going to note that we also rented a projector screen that was awkwardly large from another vendor which was kind of a hassle for us to bring to the reception venue since they wouldn't have space to store it before the ceremony. Kyle offered to take it in his truck and set it up for us at the venue, as well as the set up the projector itself. At the end of the night, he even offered to return it for us since he had space in his vehicle. We couldn't believe it since again, one less thing to worry about. Because we are out of towners, we only met Kyle once or twice(rehearsal) before the big day but he was incredibly responsive to my many emails. I am more of an email person and when someone emails me within a few hours, I truly appreciate that. In terms of pricing, I didn't do too much shopping but he fit the bill just right for us and especially with the service we received, I would hire Kyle no question.

We also had some unusual and obscure music requests, but DJPTK had them all lined up and ready to go and played them at the perfect moments. Wedding planning is super stressful and I'm really grateful for the way he made his part of things totally stress free for us - he always responded to messages within minutes, was always willing to accommodate our changing plans, was really generous in working with us to find a price that fit our budget, and was always ready and willing to do whatever it took to help our vision come together. For example, it turned out we had to move the reception party further down the beach at the very last minute but Paul didn't even bat an eye - he just adjusted and made it happen. It was such a relief having someone there who was committed to making everything work no matter what. Overall, it was an awesome party, a totally stress free experience, fantastic value for the money, and most of all you could really tell that this wasn't just a job for him, he actually cared about making our day special and fun. Context: Our event had primarily Korean/Japanese/Chinese guests and I spent an hour or two of my…read morewedding evening crying due to Bewitched's unprofessionalism. During our consultation, Jordana spoke rudely and unprofessionally about one of our other vendors, which I know at least one other couple experienced. They had the foresight to go with another bartender. She was stubborn and passive-aggressive at times during our consultations and was upset about having to compromise with our caterer for space at our venue after we had some changes in plans. She also tracked every minute she spent on our project to charge us for at the end, which made me uncomfortable asking her to make adjustments as needed. Jordana confronted my sister at our events - once for not reusing her recyclable cup and again for complaining about her to the owners of the venue, and several of our guests complained to me after our welcome party that Jordana had been over-friendly and flirty with them. I know that bartenders put their licenses on the line if they over-serve, so to me it seemed it was a lack of experience and skill that led to the Bewitched team serving our white guests until they were drunk and some Asian guests were cut off while they were still completely sober. The team also did not know how to read the room as they were out on the dance floor and singing karaoke despite tension with me and some of our guests. I'll note that the drinks they made for us were superb, but were batched by Island Elixirs who they contract, not by Bewitched. I also found it extremely off-putting that I paid a 20% gratuity in advance and they still put out a tip jar. Overall I would not recommend Bewitched to anyone I know. I know few services will ever be completely perfect, but there was just too much to overlook. Two stars because they treated some of our guests well.

My fiance and I struggled to find the right officiant until Kevin was recommended. From the beginning, he was friendly, engaged, and insightful. He took the time to get to know us (over the phone, then in person upon arrival to the island), even offering premarital counseling and resources. Kevin was the perfect blend of religion and personality we were looking for in our officiant. He walked us through all aspects of the ceremony, shared an extensive list of readings and vows we were able to customize, and even helped include my fiance's daughter into our ceremony. His experience working on the Roche Harbor staff provided insight into aspects of the wedding venue we hadn't even thought about. To say we had an ideal ceremony wouldn't do it justice. Kevin made everyone comfortable, with just the right mix of humor, sincerity, and religion. He came prepared and told our story perfectly. Kevin brought in aspects of our past, touched on the major themes that were important to us as a couple, and connected with our guests.
