History

Established in 2023.

Judson and Kristina, along with a team of friends and family, started Sound Church in 2023. Owatonna is a great community that needs a courageous church. From a humble beginning in their living room, Sound Church has impacted hundreds of lives, changing our perspective of God by changing our perspective of church. We started as a mobile church meeting in rented spaces every Sunday, but now we have our own building at 2002 Austin Rd. Join us this weekend! Meet the Business Owner: Judson B.

Pastor Judson was raised in the MInneapolis area in a "Christian environment"... you know the type that has broken homes, abuse, child abandonment and police involved... And Judson was arrested in a foreign country and ordained in a bar in Destin, Florida (ask him to tell the stories). Maybe that's why Sound Church makes sense to people that just don't fit at any other church. Judson is Married to Kristina and they have 9 kids. Kristina (from Kent, WA) leads the church together with Judson and an incredible team of leaders.

Amazing people and great music! Incredible band that doesn't sound like church music. Even tho it's a smaller crowd, the quality of the service is top notch. They know how to present the message in a way that makes sense, even if you don't know much about the Bible. I like that my kids have a special class and secure electronic check-in. read more
