Trinity Lutheran Church is a community of believers, growing disciples for Jesus Christ.

History

Established in 1919.

Trinity was first formed to provide worship and learning experiences in English in the town of Owatonna. They young congregation met in a building downtown until the mid 1950's, when they relocated to what was then the edge of town on Lincoln Ave. Trinity has continued to grow, and to be an innovative and dynamic center of ministry for the whole community. There have been two building additions, the most recent of which was completed in 2012 and brought the building up to ADA code and added a large Fellowship Hall, a new narthex, meeting rooms and renovated the existing building space. Trinity is ready and excited to follow God's call and to grow into the future!

Since than at 77 I play at local nursing homes fits my age! Have written roughly 150 songs and share them with the folks in the homes. If you have time please check out my cd on U tube. Was here Tuesday for a funeral. It looked like a big, nice church from the outside. Upon entering…read moreit was just as lovely. I was grateful for the staff near the entry that could direct me to the restroom. They had all the tables for the post service lunch set up outside the restroom area, very convenient. The narthex was comfortably sized and could spaciously fit all the visitors. The sanctuary was just beautiful. The inscription on the organ was just lovely and such a nice touch. I thought they could have maybe turned up the lights a little during the service, as I did find it a bit dark.... for my old eyes to read the hymns. I like that there were so many windows out to the parking lot, great natural light in the narthex. Thank you Divine Mercy for such a beautiful location and touching service for my friend to say good-bye to her family.
