set up an appointment for install aware that I might not have all the cables that I need, but willing to purchase the cables. upon arrival, he looked at my vehicle and said that I needed to buy a plug and that they couldn't get it. I asked what plug i needed to buy. the only answer that I kept getting regardless of how many times I asked or rephrased the question to try to get more information about what plug I need, the only thing the guy would tell me was "the plug". i understand they don't have every part in america in stock and I'm willing to buy whatever i need, but as I said to the guy when I left, "if you can't tell me the part that I need to buy in order for you to complete this installation, then why am I here?" read more

I went here to get a second estimate after first visiting an unnamed car audio installation place on Sudley Road who quoted me a price of $1900 to replace my factory audio system with an aftermarket CarPlay model. To be fair, the $1900 estimate came from a place with a "show room" displaying various models of units and speakers, which is something Sound Tech and Tint doesn't provide. But what they did provide was the same end result, for about 40% less! I saved over $700. In addition to that, the guys at Sound Tech were much more personable than the Sudley Road guy, and they took the time to break down and explain the costs line by line beforehand. After the fact, they took the time to familiarize me with my new system by sitting with me and answering any and all questions I had, which was much appreciated since I was new to CarPlay. I got my 2014 Camaro's windows tinted a week ago. I was apprehensive since the windows automatically go down slightly to clear the doorway and thought this would be an issue since windows are not supposed to be used until the adhesive cures. I was reassured that this was not going to be a problem. I was told the job was going to take 1.5 hrs and it did. It looked great when I picked up my car. And I have not had any issues with the tint job and my windows automatically going down slightly. I paid $165 plus tax and it was well worth the money for the job and quality of the film. What was supposed to a three hour job took over 4 hours-really tough when you are waiting outside with a child. They are out in the middle of NOWHERE so you can't even walk anywhere or do anything. Then after the job was finished they called the next day to tell me they had forgotten to put the engine cover back on and I needed to come all the way back . Well this place is over 40 minutes from my house so that wasn't easy to do nor very convenient. read more
