Sound Wave deserves more than a 5 star review! I was given Sound Wave's contact info through The Riverside, where we hosted a corporate holiday party for 300+ people. Sound Wave was able to apply white pipe + drape around the entire perimeter of our banquet room, to transform the event into a Winter Wonderland! Because we were so excited to work with them - they became our one stop shop. We hired Sound Wave Events to add white + blue uplights, bring a starlight dancefloor, and of course provide a DJ for the night! Whatever you have heard about the DJs + staff at Sound Wave .... It is ALL true! They are INCREDIBLE! DJ Corden was so laid back, yet professional. He was great about honoring all of our requests, while reading the crowd! He even danced with us!! (Yeah.... He is pretty good!!!!) After the event was over, he was helping take down the pipe + drape and pitch in wherever help was needed. The whole Sound Wave team does a great job of this.... they are ALL a team and will do anything to help each other out to make YOUR event amazing. Adam was awesome as well. He personally met with us many times to help our vision come to life. He also woke up VERY early in the morning to hang pipe + drape for our event. Right after meeting with him, I could tell he takes great pride in his work, and he puts 110% into everything he does. I also had the pleasure of communicating a lot with Steph + Kristin. They are both super easy to talk to, and VERY responsive! It was so easy to call or email Sound Wave - because they truly care about their clients. I am actually pretty sad I do not get to see these guys again (because they were THAT fun to work with!) If/when I need event services in the future - they are the FIRST vendor I will reach out to! read more

My husband and I hired Sound Wave Events for our destination wedding ceremony and reception. Planning a destination wedding is a little nerve-racking as you have to rely heavily on professional referrals, reviews from strangers and your own intuition. In the beginning, finding the right vendors felt fairly overwhelming. After our first interaction with Sound Wave, what began as a leap of faith quickly became the only logical choice. We were impressed from the get go. Every question we had, which there was a lot, was answered promptly and professionally. We never felt like we were one of many, or not a priority. As a self proclaimed control freak, I began to trust I could relinquish control because these guys weren't messing around. When you have so many other elements of a wedding to plan, that is quite a relief. Since we were unable, (due to our schedule), to meet with our DJ in person prior to our wedding, Sound Wave arranged a phone meeting. The meeting was thorough, yet fun. We honestly hung up the phone feeling excited and like we had known our DJ forever. Our ceremony location was somewhat remote and even required a little hike to get to. Every logistical aspect was addressed and executed to perfection. The DJ plays a pivotal role in guest experience and flow. Our DJ, Jason, had everyone laughing and dancing. He orchestrated a timeline that worked wonderfully with our venue and small group. He was exactly what we didn't realize we needed to enhance an already amazing day. As a bride, it is important you are able to trust your vendors. My advice? Save yourself from all the searching and cogitating. Book Sound Wave!!!! My husband and I were married in Sun Valley Idaho at the very end of July, and our dance party was absolutely spectacular - All because of Kristin and Adam. From the moment we engaged them in our wedding process, they LISTENED. They were kind, creative and extremely on point. The entire process was stress-free and actually super enjoyable. You can tell that these people absolutely LOVE what they do, and they bring you along for the ride. I knew from the moment we hired them that we were in good hands. Our two different dance floors were beautiful (one outdoor and one indoor), they had everything we needed, and came in at a great price (even when we asked them for a custom gobo of our faces to be projected onto the wall!). My entire life I have been a professional dancer, so the pressure was on for this to be a dance party that never-ended, with unbelievable music that had everyone dancing all night - And it worked, I believe last call was at 2:30 a.m. and our Sound wave DJs were killing it! I've said it before and I'll say it again, hire Sound Wave and you will NOT be sorry - Plus they are just really good people. What more can you ask for! read more

Five stars for everything about Sound Wave, especially for our DJ- Zach. Our wedding was perfect-- simple, small, and classic. Zach delivered everything as requested and we were really impressed and appreciative. Generally, this kind of service is all about selling and upselling but Sound Wave "listened" to what we wanted for our wedding and delivered the service-- not once that they made us feel pressured and overwhelmed which I was told differently by other couples we talked to about their experience with other DJ services. The price was reasonable (absolutely affordable for budgeted weddings) and worth every penny spent. For our wedding selection on services-- we chose to have a DJ at our wedding, not only to manage music selection but set the tone. It is very nice to have the wedding schedule set and managed smoothly without any hiccup by the DJ. We had an amazing time and very memorable day for us, our families and friends. After talking to a couple other DJs (and debating if we even needed one), we met with Sound Wave Events. Right away they felt like the perfect fit. Lenny was our DJ, and from that first meeting, his personality meshed with ours. He seemed in tune with the vibe and music we were looking for (without us having to put together a playlist or give much guidance). Leading up to our wedding, Carley was there for us, prompt about communication, and easy to get in touch with. At our wedding, it felt more like having a friend around (who just happened to be taking care of all the music and the night's transitions) than a vendor. Lenny and Cesar checked in with us a couple times but only to see how we were doing; they took care of things seamlessly. For anyone looking to pass the baton on music planning, look no further! We used sound wave for our special night (our wedding) and couldn't have been more impressed. While living in Phoenix we were not able to meet Carly and her team rather communicate via email. Carly and team responded with any questions we had and most often a great solution to the issue in a timely manner. She really made the process of selecting music and reception fun so seamless. As for the wedding night our DJ was nothing but amazing. He really kept the party going all night and made us feel like royalty on our special day. He was very attentive and listened to what we wanted for dancing and fun. Also it was amazing that we told him a few of our favorite songs and out of that he was able to create a playlist that had us on our feet all night. Sound Wave MADE my wedding day! Each and every person that I spoke with at their company is so amazing and caring. Their top priority was always me and my (now) husband! We met with Kristin almost a year before our wedding for our initial consult and then Kristin and Adam met with me at my venue to discuss lighting options, help me with layout, determine if I would need 2 sound systems or just 1, etc. All of this BEFORE I EVEN BOOKED THEM! My DJ was Chad, one word - AMAZING! Our guests were begging us to keep the party going and Chad and his assistant didn't even blink an eye when I asked if they'd stay an extra hour. Our wedding was over a month ago and we are still getting compliments from people telling us it was the best wedding they have ever been to! This company is simply amazing! From the very first meeting I knew that they had to be at my wedding! I just got married October 3rd and we had a very short engagement so I was nervous on how smooth everything was going to go. Adam and Garrett went out of their was during the reception AND ceremony to make my day as smooth and perfect as it could be! Every single person at the reception was having a great time! We are thrilled with Soundwave. JT was our DJ and helped us with more than just music. Soundwave essentially acted as a day of coordinator/wedding planner throughout the process and we couldn't recommend them enough. JT really understood the flow of a wedding from start to finish and was ready willing and able to help with anything we threw his way. Having a professional who understands the big picture and goes above and beyond to help you execute it is priceless and hard to come by! We used this vendor for a corporate holiday party and they were spectacular. Corden excels at the sales and service side of this business and really shined in his role as DJ for us. He was the perfect person to get our group dancing and moving and laughing. He is not afraid to walk around the room and ask for song requests and get people out of their chairs without being pushy or too aggressive. He has a knack for that. The photo booth props were perfect for our crowd and our employees really loved it. We chose a black back drop and our party was during the winter so a lot of people were wearing black and they didn't pop off the background as much as I would have liked. My only suggestion is to take that in to consideration when selecting your photo booth background color! read more

We absolutely loved getting to work with Sound Wave! They were not only our DJs but they also worked on the design and overall feel of our wedding. They built a custom sail structure (we wanted something that offered shade but wasn't as enclosed as a traditional tent), they built our aisle over the pool for the ceremony, and handled all of our lighting (twinkle lights, uplighting, etc.). They listened to us, were full of creativity, were so responsive, stayed respectful of our budget, and are just wonderful people to work with. Also, their insane DJ skills (and lasers and fog) made for the best dance party that didn't end until 2am. I really enjoyed working with Sound Wave. I planned a 80's themed company party with Kristin from Sound Wave. She was very helpful, and would check back in with me periodically to make sure I was taken care and if there was anything else I needed from them. Talon was our D.J. for the event he was extremely easy to work with. He hit every song we wanted, and really made a great party atmosphere the whole night. He also put in a couple of extra personal touches on the music that made the night really come together. Talon even came out and taught us the electric slide which was awesome! JT did a wonderful job of getting to know all about our wedding and what we wanted the feel to be. They were so helpful with me in helping me understand the best timeline for the reception, answered emails right away, and were always willing to answer questions. JT was our DJ, and he was such a great presence at the wedding. He was never too much but kept the ball rolling and made sure everyone knew where to go and what was happening next. Her guidance was instrumental to my choice in using Sound Wave Events to DJ and I don't think it's an exaggeration to say it was the best decision I made for the entire wedding. We worked with Cesar for our wedding in June and can't recommend him enough! He helped our day run seamlessly, made the toast-givers feel comfortable, and kept the dance floor going. They were fun to work with and my wedding went through without a hitch the music was great and they helped keep a relaxed upbeat vibe throughout the entire reception. The games and special dances they help with were so fun.
