Nice store with better prices than goodwill. They have furniture, toys, shoes, clothing for all sizes including baby and toddler clothing. Craft supplies, dishes, pot and pans and so much more. Prices are fair and they often have discounts and games to play to win even more discounts. There is only 1 dressing room however, so you may have to wait a bit until its available. read more

A great thrift store, a large building with plenty of parking in the lot and on the street front. There are tons of clothing men's women's and children's all in good to better condition and fairly priced. Rows and rows of shelves of the usual household items one would expect to find in a thrift shop; lots of small gadgets and utensils, and plenty of glassware, pots, pans and dishes. There is also a nice collectibles section, very well stocked with fair to average pricing. Then there are the books... There is a complete children's section with two nicely stocked display shelves of all kinds of great kids books. There is a huge area for all other reading materials, several book shelves and a couple short racks full, as well as a sitting area with a table and chairs. I scanned books for almost an hour and a half and walked out with two cases full of books; several first editions, a handful of limited out of prints, and several technical, science and reference books and manuals that all were with high resale values, 54 books all told ranging from .25 cents to $1 in price. Well worth a stop, and you can easily spend a couple hours in this store. We plan to stop again the next time we are in the area. I do understand how important hospice care is. With that being stated, I will no longer donate to this store. I was refused service because I refused to wear a paper mask while walking around their store. It truly is a sad world that we live in that politics set "medical mandates". A paper mask will not stop the transfer of a virus. It will however introduce molds into your lungs that will make you sick. read more

I'm an avid thrifter from Portland. My folks live in Coos Bay, and there are two places I try to stop when I visit them. The Goodwill, and South Coast Hospice. The clothes tend to be old and mediocre, I don't know if I've ever scored in that department, but the FURNITURE! There are always a lot of great vintage pieces. I scored a WONDERFUL mid-century modern lamp for $12 on one trip. They also have a great spread of Christmas stuff around the holidays. I've gotten fabric, books, jewelry, and baby stuff. The prices are A+! Stop in if you can! read more

Okay... this store is no longer an average "second time around" place. We find the finest props for vintage and specialty photography here! Amazing pricing, and you know you're shopping for a fantastic cause. Truly, it seems every time I visit I am more impressed with the organization, the staff, the seasonal displays, and the continual new selection of amazing variety! Whoda thunk it? And by the way... THANKS to whoever recently donated the crazy-beautiful selection of vintage hats! Your donation was our amazing shopping therapy! Gotta admit - I love this store. I shop here with a purpose; am always met with friendly faces and the organization is over the top! I gave this place five stars because there are ALOT of amazing things about this place. All the ladies here are very nice and always friendly. They have the best selection of children's books, never any torn pages or ruined ones. They are also WAY more organized than any other thrift store I've been too. I buy puzzles for myself and my daughter all the time. Goodwill obviously doesn't check because every time I get one from them it's like they threw random pieces into a box and sealed it shut. This place has never disappointed me for puzzles. All the pieces are there and in good shape. They also have good selection of adult books, cookbooks, fabric, and board games. My only complaint (although petty) is that some of their dishes, like casserole dishes, are a bit overpriced. And sometimes I feel like there kids clothes can be too pricey. But we love this place! read more

Prices are way cheaper than the Goodwill on Broadway. Store is very organized and has a good selection of most everything.

I checked this thrift store out when driving through coos bay. The store is easy to find and the inside is clean and organized. The selection is decent and prices are reasonable (a bit better than goodwill). They have specials everyday and clearance items that are between 50 cents and 2 dollars I believe. Although I didn't buy anything, I would visit the store again to browse/shop. read more

Yes, it's very large and well-lighted. The staff friendly and helpful, the merchandise in good condition. Prices I don't always agree with, but my favorite find here was an art board that had no easel to prop it on. One of the workers let me have it for $2; unfortunately, when I got to the register, one of the people there acted as if I were stealing it and demanded that someone go to the back and find out who had repriced the item. It was finally sorted out and I later found in another shop a wooden easel to prop it on for 50 cents. Now if I can just find the time to use it! read more

I always loved this place, has a good selection of furniture and everything else, but one time i bought a 10 cent post card, accidentally left it their, returned for it the next day and they said they had put it back, maybe its just a nit pick because i was only 10 cents but i found that profoundly disrespectful to the customer. Other than that its still a solid place, i once found a giant stuffed cat fish their that was beautiful and now he is my bed buddy for life :) read more
