She got me on the schedule and literally, the very next day, a Technician came to our house and set up our new TV. He was so very kind and knowledgeable. So I promised him I'd write a review on Yelp and he said that would be awesome. Here it is... Yesterday, I ordered 65 feet of Cat5e ethernet cable to ensure an uninterrupted connection for my home office internet needs. Brett answered my call and had me come in which I did. Brett welcomed me and proceeded to cut not 65 but 72 feet while charging me for only 65 feet (plus the 2 connectors on the ends). Nice! I hung the cable this morning and the extra 7 feet was a perfect call on Brett's part. Very nice! Excited, I plugged the ethernet cable into my laptop and....nothing. Got no LAN connection. Only my wifi connection which is not reliable for business calls. Man, was I disappointed. All the goodwill I felt went sour. When I called I was told by Christina that Brett was out for the day. No bueno! I told her my situation and she arranged for John to come out and have a look since I had already hung it. When John arrived he tested the line and sure enough there was an issue with it. It was a simple mix-up by Brett when he tied the connections pieces which can happen every now and then. I get it. I know I don't always hit what I'm aiming for in my job as a high school English teacher to at-risk youth. Anyway, John made the repair onsite and applied himself diligently to the task. When he was done I had a connection. Hallelujah! I thanked John and asked him what I could give in return. And now you know. Oregon Satellite provided outstanding service and went above and beyond to help me and I thank them for that. By the way, my at-home internet service is not with Oregon Satellite; I only made a one-time purchase of ethernet cable.

Whether you're having bottled water delivered to your home, or whether you're setting up a fundraising dinner for a worthy cause... Vend West will nearly always be in the picture somewhere. They happily donate as they can, and do business with a warm smile and friendly spirit. Though I've opted to buy filters for my over-priced refrigerator in lieu of the over-priced bottles of delivered water, I admit I miss my cold/hot water taps, and the sweet taste of Earth2O. There's just something in the water. :) Now this is where I highly recommend doing business locally! It would be kind if Vend West would consider their customer's may not wish to locate their own envelopes and fill out the cover every time they wish to pay the bill. C'mon guys... change up the billing system. The services cost plenty to cover such an implementation of updating your system. In other words... it's 2011.
