Melissa is fun, energetic, and passionate about her work and her clients. She really cares about her clients and she will help improve your oral health in ways you probably had no idea existed. I was a client for myofunctional therapy, due to a tongue tie I had no idea existed until about nine months ago. My therapy lasted a little over six months with daily tongue exercises. I became a master tongue-clicker and my tongue is now more yolked than ever before! What was pretty exhausting at first has lead to a tongue that can swallow correctly, without contributing to gum recession, and compete in tongue building competitions. Melissa was seriously so fun to work with. Going to see her was always a fun and enjoyable experience, even when put under the microscope tongue light being observed while I swallow incorrectly. But I can absolutely tell I made positive changes and received positive results in a journey to proper oral health. Thank you Melissa for your great work. If you or your child need a pathologist, look no further than Melissa Beck. You will not be disappointed.

Melissa is amazing with kids, has such a natural way of explaining some pretty challenging exercises and best of all, my son really enjoys his time with her. Her positive energy makes each session fun -- you can really tell Melissa loves her profession! I highly recommend her! In fact, as my son read this review, he suggested we give her 25 stars!

My son is on the spectrum, and Chris is specialized in working through the issues that come along with autism (stereotypy, elopement, etc). We were going to a therapy center before we moved to OC, where my son would see a different therapist each day. Those clinics are fine for most kids, but we felt our son needed more consistency and someone who knew how to work with spectrum kids. He has made a ton of progress over the years, and I can't imagine what we would do without Chris.

The three words I would use to best describe Chris are experienced, caring and practical. Chris quickly identified our son's issues, implemented programs and treatment goals to address those issues, and continued to assess and update the issues and goals to ensure he was getting the treatment he needed. Our son looked forward to his time with "Ms. Chris" and my husband and I benefited from modeling the techniques she used in session at home. Additionally, Chris was extremely communicative. She didn't just deliver a diagnosis and treatment plan, but rather went the extra mile providing practical solutions to everyday challenges our son and family faced. There is no doubt Chris changed our lives for the better and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for help with speech and language!

I love what they use a text message system to be in communication regarding appointments and other quick questions. Now it does take time once you start to get a therapist, but once we started, it has been wonderful. My son loves coming here and always has a great session! The speech and OT Therapist that we have seen ,and we've gone through a few people, have all been amazing! They are very attentive, they are genuinely caring for my child, and they do a great job of communicating the sessions updates. We have seen such great success with my son's therapy sessions. We are very grateful that we were able to come here.

This review is limited specifically to our experience with Beth, PT. Unfortunately, she was the worst therapist we have ever trusted with our child. Instead of physically engaging with him and focusing on the purpose of the session, she spent much of the appointment providing unsolicited, pessimistic medical opinions that she is unqualified to provide (and more importantly without compassion). These comments were made in front of our child, who can understand more than people may realize. We found this deeply inappropriate, discouraging, and outside the proper scope of a physical therapy session. Very little meaningful physical therapy took place because so much of the session was devoted to negative and medically unsupported commentary. We were shocked by the lack of hands-on engagement, professionalism, and sensitivity shown toward a young child and his family. In contrast, we are very happy with Caitlin, PT. She physically engages our child throughout the session, treats him with kindness and compassion, and helps him work toward improvement with positive energy and encouragement. We appreciate her professionalism and therapeutic approach. We were hesitant to leave this review, but we believe it is important to share our experience so that management addresses the issue and other families do not go through something similar.
