Over the years I've tried many local plumbing and heating firms and have settled on Kirby as our go to guy. This was his first heating install for us. We got a Goodman modulating furnace which is supposed be be easy on gas and quiet. Can't speak for the gas use yet, but quiet? When it's running it sounds like someone's having a shower in the master bath. Just a soft whooshing sound, that you have to turn down the TV to hear. As for the installation, Kirby was prompt and courteous. He did the entire removal of the old furnace and replacement of the new one by himself in a single day. He was careful to protect our wood floor, and the walls and doorways as well. There was quite a bit of work needed. As well as remove the old furnace and install a new one, Kirby had to make new duct-work - which he did on site, and he had to rearrange the intake and exhaust pipes and redo the drainage. Plus he installed and programmed an intelligent thermostat with an outside weather sensor - all in one day! The install was a bit tricky as the old furnace was in a tight space. None of this fazed Kirby. He was cheerful and calm the whole time. Once he was done, he cleaned up and you wouldn't know he had been there. All in all I'd recommend Neighbourhood Plumbing and Heating to anyone who asked. For plumbing and heating!

The bid included replacement of coping, new skimmer, re-tile, re-plaster, and replacement of old electric heater with new heat pump. The bid detailed the cost of each phase of the project so that I could choose which phases I wanted (could afford) to complete. In the end I chose to complete the entire list and Jerry installed the new skimmer ($2250) for free. Jerry uses a combination of his own crew and subcontractors (coping and plastering) on my project. One can tell Jerry takes great pride in his work. He took the time necessary to make sure I understood the maintenance and water balancing of a new pool. When I decided to replace the 15 year old pool pump with a new SuperFlo VS motor he gave me a bid but did not balk when I decided to replace it myself. He even looked over my work to make sure it was done properly. I would end by saying that Jerry was very competitive in pricing (half that of AquaQuip) and in the same range of other contractors, but his customer service and communication was far better than other private contractors. I would have no hesitation recommending Prestigious Pools with the full 5 stars.

Where do I start? Installing a pool is like doing a house renovation. There are many moving…read more parts, many things to consider outside of the original goal, and licenses and permits through the roof to deal with too. And that is why it is critical to have an excellent working relationship with the contractors. In this case, ARIA. From the first moment I met the team, I felt comfortable. They understood what I wanted, and how fast I wanted it, and were willing to work within the very strict parameters of the site itself and my often quite strong demands. The team behind them, especially the project manager, Jen and the site manager James, went out of their way to find solutions and to accommodate my wishes. This was not an easy build. It was on an existing property and had no rear access. So everything came down the side of the house, and for the pool (fiberglass) itself, OVER the house! That was an incredible sight. Note that damage to existing structures is inevitable but miraculously only a bit of concrete was cracked due to the weight of one of the trucks. Aria repaired it without a thought even though it wasn't their error. The digging of the pool started mid-February and by June 1st I was swimming in it and that included the landscaping. There were a lot of hiccups along the way especially with the sub trades but every time I needed them, ARIA showed up, or chased people down. This was an outstanding level of customer service and customer care and I'm grateful to my son who found them in the first place. Because there are so many components to the construction of a pool, especially mine, I can't give the process a 5 out of 5 stars, but can I give the company 5 out of 5 for truly working hard to make me happy at a reasonable price. PS If the link works, go to YouTube and you can watch the process from beginning to end. This is my video and has nothing to do with the company. https://youtu.be/Lhvg7z84a8A?si=QZqHpXsEHGijzqFt
