My kids love KCTKD and I love KCTKD. My kids have been going there a year now. A year ago my son…read more(a first grader at the time) was having big problems focusing and about 6 months into his KCTKD journey, his teacher commented on how much his focus had improved. So much that she was able to move him up to the next level reading group. My daughter (now a fourth grader) is very shy and wouldn't volunteer or speak up. This month, one of her teachers told me that she is taking more risks and raising her hand more. I contribute their positive transition to KCTKD. The instructors work with them on their focus and encourage them to get involved. They are positive role models in my kids lives. During the COVID-19 pandemic, KCTKD continued. They didn't close down but instead offered classes online. This was the one thing in my kids lives that was a constant and brought some stability during a time where everything else was turned upside down or was taken away. My kids have been resilient throughout this whole ordeal and I attribute a lot of their resiliency to the innovation and support of Master Cam and the other instructors at KCTKD. Unfortunately, the professionalism and support from the coaching staff and leadership were severely lacking when challenges arose. During her first year at the gym, my daughter expressed interest in pursuing college gymnastics. Her coach was not supportive. Instead of encouraging her while being realistic, the coach discouraged her and even refused to teach her new skills, stating, "Why should I teach you new skills if you are going to leave anyway?" This was deeply disappointing, as we were paying facility and coach to teach her. My daughter chose to stay because of the friendships she had built with her teammates. The following year, my daughter moved up a level and had a different coach. As a middle schooler navigating personal struggles, my daughter handled some issues poorly with her coach but they appeared to have been resolved. Later in the season, more issues arose but the director made decisions without hearing all sides and communicated things that should have been addressed personally via email. We attempted to contact her coach multiple times but both my daughter and I were ghosted. My 14 year old CHILD called the coach and texted her requesting a meeting to resolve the matter and the coach didn't ever reply! The coach is an ADULT responsible for mentoring and coaching CHILDREN! Despite paying non-refundable competition fees, the only option offered was for her to compete without a coach's backing--a serious safety concern. This left my daughter unsupported and she was forced to leave the gym. Over the course of our time there, I invested more than $10,000 and consistently supported the program and the coaches, even when I may have disagreed with them. When real issues arose, the way they were handled was unprofessional, dismissive, and deeply concerning. I recently contacted the owner of the gym to express my concerns and I didn't even get the courtesy of a reply. This is the thanks you get for spending your money there. Families considering this gym should be aware that while the facility is nice, the leadership and some coaching support may fall short when it truly matters.

They're so on top of everything and great communicators. We're also blessed to have Ms. Becky as our daughter's lead teacher, she is beyond thoughtful and compassionate and all of her students clearly love her, including our daughter. Our daughter is excited every day to go to school at Goddard and you can see how much fun she has with her endless smiling in her photos. You can see the variety of creative learning projects her class is constantly doing and we can see the quick progress our daughter is making; new words, learning body parts, songs, sign language, etc. Thanks for letting us rest easy knowing our girl is in great hands each week! :)

My wife and I agonized over where to send our children for pre-school, and couldn't have been…read morehappier with the result! We have had 3 kids go through Goddard, and will be sorry to see it go when our last is finished. We toured pre-schools in Denver, Lone Tree and Highlands Ranch before making our decision. Any of the Goddard Schools would have been sufficient but we were moving from Denver to South Denver and decided it was best to have the kids close. We based our decision on three factors: cleanliness of the building, educational curriculum, and attentiveness/quality of the staff. Most of the schools we visited felt more like daycares than preschool - classes were organized around play rather than balanced play/learning. Goddard was the only school that offered any sort of appreciable curriculum, and you could visibly see the transition from play to education as you moved up in classrooms. We now have three kids that can count in English, Spanish, Chinese and Vietnamese! The building is a newer building that always seems clean, and when there was a leak, the affected room was sealed off and professionally cleaned/restored by a reputable restoration company the day after the leak because the staff was concerned for the health of the kids. Some of the staff we have known for our entire time at the school, and they are personable, approachable, and fantastic with the kids. If we have had issues with any of the teachers the problem is usually addressed quickly. Couldn't recommend this place enough. It's a fantastic school.

In just one 30 minute lesson she was so much more comfortable in the water and actually started learning that very first day. After two months (once a week, 30 minutes each) she's able to do so much more, such as floating unsupported on her back, proper kicks and a fairly decent overhand stroke. The instructor is patient and skilled with young children. We're thrilled with the progress we've seen in our granddaughter as well as the other children in her class.
