The owner or manager of this location was a former girl scout and was very excited to do a class for them. She was able to work with the time that we had available. She was very easy to work with and accomodating. Day of class, the girls thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Their teacher did a fantastic job working with my boisterous group of high schoolers. They had a blast. Learned a few skills. And took lots of pictures! They had SO much fun! I will be back! I am going to set up a class for a womens group in the future for silks and pole dancing. And my daughter might do some silks classes over the summer months while her climbing classes are on hiatus.

The intro series is a continuous series of 4 classes. It's really nice to have the same instructor and the same group of people in the class every week, which helps build confidence and camaraderie. We all got through the first class in slightly awkward silence, but by the fourth class we were laughing, joking around, and dancing freely. Luckily our instructor, Molly, was super lighthearted and funny, and she made everyone feel much more at ease. I definitely left each class with sore arms. Pole dancing is no joke! And as someone with no dance background, it was sometimes difficult to not look totally awkward transitioning between moves. I definitely have a lot of work to do, so I'm excited to try out the Beginner class.

It was easy to schedule. I sent an email and gave some dates/times and they picked one. After that had to pay the fee for class in advance. And then we got to wait until class day! The teachers are great and super passionate about what they do. My scouts felt super comfortable with them. For class, they leant them boards and helmets and then pads to whoever wanted them. They offer some open skate times, women/girls only, 30+ night, beginner class and more. They also have a small skate shop in their building. Its the only indoor skate park in fort collins. So on dates that its cold outside its supposedly busier than when its nice out. There is not a ton of parking so just be forewarned.

As I waited my turn I repeatedly threw a pine cone, which slowly disintegrated, for Tuff, and had some good laughs with the whole crew. My instructor was Cody. I got the picture and video package and we got some amazing pictures and some pretty hilarious videos. I got to pilot the parachute on our way back down, and we did 360s, 180s, and sashays. I was ready for a "rough" landing since I've been told the landing is the worst part of skydiving, but even that was smooth. Cody told me to put my feet up as high as they could go when coming in for our landing and we just slid on to the ground in a sitting position. I'm actually planning on going again with a friend in a few weeks, and as soon as I save up the money I'll be back for licensing!
