Dr. Reilly lacked empathy and kindness. He never examined me at all (no checking my ears, throat, etc.), never checked on the baby or asked about her movements to ensure she was okay... he never even approached me, instead leaning up against the counter. He ordered a Covid test and then I asked about a flu test. He said I don't have the flu unless I was in Miami and they don't have any flu tests there. He basically told me I just have a viral infection and all I can do is rest. When I asked him for Tylenol, he said "you really feel that bad??" When I said yes, I told you several times that I feel awful, hence being in urgent care. His response was "huh. Awful enough to go to the ER?" I'm like.. I came here first to get examined and to see if an ER visit is warranted. It was like he didn't listen to me at all and wasn't trying to help me. Fast forward to flying home the next day and going to my doctor, and I have a severe sinus infection. Had he examined me, he would have known that and I could have been on my way to feeling better already.

This is the worst medical office I've ever come across. Aside from not having the doctors they…read moreadvertise, the Practice Manager, who seems to be on a power trip, is a nasty, miserable person who actually refused to have someone take my blood pressure despite the fact that my cardiologist who is a part of this practice, wanted my blood pressure taken because it had been running so high. She told me "this is not a walk-in clinic." Well, I AM A PATIENT AND THERE WAS A SNAFU ABOUT WHERE MY ACTUAL APPOINTMENT WAS. She pushed back and pushed back, insisting I schedule another appointment when there was nothing available for more than a week. There was not one other patient in the office, it was a rainy day, it was getting late, and the other office was more than an hour away. I felt sick, I was dizzy, my head was pounding and there was no way I could get in a car and drive all that way just to get my blood pressure taken and they should have known better than to refuse me care. I ended up going to an Urgent Care close by, who was shocked that they hadn't taken my pressure, did it immediately, and told me it was so high I needed to either go to the ER or contact my cardiologist to have my medication adjusted asap because I was in a hypertensive state. I'm sure some of that was a result of the stress this woman caused me, and IMO the doctor could have gotten on the phone and spoken to them, which he didn't do, nor did he respond to my call after I left the urgent care for hours. They advertise that they have all kinds of specialists, when in fact they have only one internist who I saw only once; the other one or two times I was seen by the PA who was competent but not an MD. The rest of the doctors are there sporadically if at all; most of them are actually in Riverhead, not exactly around the corner for someone who lives in the East End and which certainly doesn't serve the area that this office is supposedly handling. If you can get an appointment, the wait times are excessive; I have waited upwards of an hour to see someone only to be told they were running an additional 45 minutes late; at that point I had to leave because I didn't want to sit in a waiting room filled w sick people during Covid and I had other commitments. The office is beautiful and I know they dropped a ton of money into it because I designed hospitals and healthcare facilities for 30 years. They should have taken all that money and put it into hiring competent staff. I used to have a lot of respect for NYU. My father was on the staff of NYU his whole life, my cousin is an orthopedic surgeon affiliated with NYU Langone and many of my clients were off site practices associated w the hospital. This office is a total disappointment since we in the Hamptons are hard pressed to find good medical care.
