our Blue man will be 2 later this month he is such a joy to have in our family. He is so funny and just makes us all laugh with his antics. He loves to cuddle and play with his toys. We got him as an emotional so support dog for our daughter with Down syndrome. The family atmosphere that SJS creates with the people who get their fur babies from them is amazing. They connect us with other families who got their puppers from the same litter as well as a forum to ask questions and get answers. the kennels are super clean and are well maintained. We had a wonderful experience with South Jersey Schnauzers when adopting our dog. We weren't able to visit the location ahead of time so we were choosing a dog based on pictures, videos and conversations with Sarah and Gracie, the owners, about temperament and energy levels. The process was smooth and comforting. SJS was flexible with our pickup timing since we were traveling for a couple weeks. Overall, our schnauzer is awesome 90% of the time and a land-shark/mischievous puppy the rest of the time. My husband and I purchased a Schnoodle from South Jersey Schnauzers in the winter 2023. We learned of the breeder through a friend, who got a mini schnauzer from them a few years prior. We loved their dog's personality, so it was a no-brainer to consider a puppy from the same breeder. The process was pleasant and easy. When we went to pick up our puppy, we immediately fell in love. We picked her up and she immediately started kissing us. The puppy's mother was there and when we picked her up, she also started kissing us. Bottom line is their dogs are bred to be loving and affectionate. Our pup has been a wonderful addition to our family. She's great with people (including children) and other dogs. There's a Facebook group, with other people who've gotten dogs from SJS, and the breeder is also on that page, so it's been a valuable resource as well. Do not ever buy a dog from this breeder. I lost $1500 due returning them after only 2 days. These dogs were out of control due never being keep in a puppy pen or a crate. They run free all over this breeder's home and they pee and poop everywhere. They are not use to being in a pen or a crate; so when they were put in one or the other, both dogs went crazy. For 2 straight days they never stopped barking, howling and whining. I also know of 3 other people that because they knew they lost their money and in less than a week, they took them to a rescue. I got poodles from them and I couldn't believe they chopped their tails off to the point they almost don't have one. Poodles are supposed to have a tail. These people do not know what the are doing when it comes to their poodles. BE WARNED, make sure you know everything about a breeder before you buy their dogs. I would recommend if you really want a dog; do yourself a favor and go to a shelter or rescue. You will get a better dog. The money at least goes to use and in some breeders pocket. read more

I have rescued schnauzers for 20 years, and, although rescue dogs have issues, they were obstacles that could be overcome with training and love. I have had the most difficult schnauzers, but was always able to manage them and make them part of my family. During Covid I was not able to find any rescues so I researched breeders and found south jersey schnauzers.They claimed that their dogs have good temperments and are healthy. I applied for a puppy and was quickly called within a few days saying they had a male puppy available. I went to pick up the pup and he was fine the first few days. Ever since, it has been a total nightmare. I have spent over $8,000 in training, rearranged my life to bring him to dog parks, training classes and doggy day care. He bites people, children and attacks my 13 year old schnauzer on a regular basis. When I reached out to the breeders to find out his history, it turns out it wasn't from their stock, it was from a "breeding partner" whatever that means. I cannot have children or other dogs to my house becasue he attacks everyone. People will not come to my house because of his aggression. The breeder told me she would take him back and place him with a family that would "work with him and love him". What a "kick in the pants" after I spent so much love, time and $$ on this dog. I would never give him up because he would surely end up in a shelter. I am only writing this review so people know to ask where the dog comes from. Also, to tell the breeder not to let their "breeding partner" have any more litters because there is something wrong with their dogs. Be careful when dealing with this breeder. I have never worked so hard at anything in my life and got no results. I cry on a regular basis because this dog has drastically changed my life. If I could give negative stars, I would. read more

We purchased our puppy back in December. The puppy had non-stop diarrhea. The breeder informed us it was due to the new environment, stress, or anxiety. We took the puppy to the first vet appointment within three weeks of welcoming our puppy home. The vet informed us he had two parasites, Giardia and Cystoisospora. We tried to explain to the breeder that the parasites came from either the mom or the facility as per the vet. Since we received the puppy in December we never took the puppy outside due to the below-freezing weather and COVID. A few hundred dollars later and 5 months of hell we finally got rid of the parasites. Now the Vet informed us that our puppy only has one testicle and the other retained inside called cryptorchid. Dogs with a retained testicle typically develop the undesirable characteristics associated with intact males like urine marking and aggression. The vet later informed us that this causes cancer in the future and that the breeder should have never bred the original dog with this problem. We informed the breeder and she said that the dad also had this issue and that they would help us with the surgery cost since we had 1 year of insurance with them. Now that we have had the surgery and paid for it in full the breeder does not answer our text messages or phone call. We wanted to purchase a purebred puppy for peace of mind. But all we have received is headaches, and over $2,000 in vet bills within six months, and who knows what's next. Not to mention they even ask me for $15 from me to receive a certificate a purebred never received it! Better off going to a rescue pound do not give these people a dollar!!! read more
