So if you want to pay $20 per click that this "activator" does, feel free to waste your money.

I thought the whole point of chiropractic care was to get you well enough so that you don't have to come back hardly ever. I feel like it's a punishment because I haven't been there in 4 months. Don't you want me to not need chiropractic care? Anyhow, I told the receptionist no thank you and that I would find a new chiropractor and she hung up on me.

I can tell you the quality of care you get from everyone you see is genuine, caring, and nothing short of amazing. They have helped get me healed through many car accident injuries, and also through some pain when I had fallen, and broke my tailbone a few years back. Right now I am receiving care from totaling my car into a deer back in June. I am still sore, and the therapists, and massages have really helped get me through. They also offer Pilates, and I think other therapies. I was supposed to do Pilates to help heal my injuries, but I ended up with Covid the end of August, and my schedule didn't mesh with who ever was supposed to do it. So bummer on that. Although years ago I have done some Pilate work through here, and I found it very helpful. They have great equipment for PT. The staff is very friendly, and they do their best to work with your schedule to get you in right away. The PT, and massage is also usually the same day. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for PT. You will get quality care. I have been to other places, and don't feel like I got what I needed from them.

From what I can tell (I've had 5 appointments), Staszak PT is focusing on addressing faulty movement patterns which will resolve the presenting issue. I came in with chronic neck and upper back pain, as well as some ankle stiffness. They've been teaching me how to strengthen my TVA and glutes, work on ankle mobility, stabilize an old shoulder injury, and addressing things I've always assumed were just how I was made (I've got one foot that flairs out a little instead of pointing straight forward, and I'm slightly bowlegged). I've been diligent with my exercises, and I'm gradually feeling more stable and also feeling my muscles relax as they don't need to compensate for my poor movement patterns. That's leaving me feeling stronger and in less pain. I've worked with a handful of the staff (Mike and Mary, Emily, Audrey, Tina, Lori, and Shane) and they've all been great. They take detailed notes with each visit, so even when I'm handed off between team members, each person has been versed with my specific situation.

After many decades of my doing dentistry mostly standing, he figured out how to get my body back on track by reawakening my core muscles which I had turned off by constant disuse. He gave me exercises to do during my day to reawaken my deeper musculature so it could start again properly supporting my body. Just as one example...gripping my feet into the floor, massaging the floor so I activate my core musculature. Another--doing "snow angels" while lying on a foam roller (and other secret exercises while you're down there that you have to find out by coming here ASAP!) In addition, he started me on strengthening exercises (that involve stretching at the end of the stroke) for my legs. Now I have to live by the Nike mantra, "Just Do It!" The good news--Medicare coverage is great, especially if you do some of this at home daily. Then you can go and get your weekly Steve "fix" for many weeks to come. Get a referral for every year to keep yourself tuned up!

I had one hip replaced three years ago, and recently my surgeon recommended physical therapy to help strengthen my hip and back mussels in hopes of putting off replacing the other hip. At 69 I was sceptical but then I met Steve Shipley at Central PT. Steve has not only been a great coach, he has been able to make excersising "almost fun" Steve is not for wimps but he is fantastic at what he does. My last appointment is tomorrow but I feel I will stay on my program, and will be much stronger in my daily activities, and a much safer scuba diver. It got so bad I couldn't sleep, fingers were going numb, muscles spazzing up and down my ribs. I decided to go in. I called and the Dr was in Reedsport, didn't matter, I needed to feel better. I had to ask, " do you use the little thumper do-dad?" He said no, that he runs a "Crack House" ! I was sold Dr. Epley is a great guy. He has a genuine desire to fix what is going on with you. Had I had more time or lived in the area, I might have went along with blood tests etc Just to see what he had to say. He took a lot of time explaining and listening to my thoughts as well. I was impressed as now a days no Dr. has the time to listen. They get paid to rubber stamp you through your "insurance " (joke) The good Dr. determined I just needed some maintenance adjustment, and it felt very, very good. He is very confident and knows his stuff. You can't go wrong with Dr. Epley. He's a straight shooter, no fluff. You will feel better and I encourage you to get on a maintenance plan.
