I have been going to PT, and massage through this clinic on, and off for probably almost a decade. I started when the clinic was at another location. I can tell you the quality of care you get from everyone you see is genuine, caring, and nothing short of amazing. They have helped get me healed through many car accident injuries, and also through some pain when I had fallen, and broke my tailbone a few years back. Right now I am receiving care from totaling my car into a deer back in June. I am still sore, and the therapists, and massages have really helped get me through. They also offer Pilates, and I think other therapies. I was supposed to do Pilates to help heal my injuries, but I ended up with Covid the end of August, and my schedule didn't mesh with who ever was supposed to do it. So bummer on that. Although years ago I have done some Pilate work through here, and I found it very helpful. They have great equipment for PT. The staff is very friendly, and they do their best to work with your schedule to get you in right away. The PT, and massage is also usually the same day. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for PT. You will get quality care. I have been to other places, and don't feel like I got what I needed from them. read more

Physical therapy generally seems to fall into two camps when treating chronic pain: solving the presenting pain, or addressing the underlying movement patterns. From what I can tell (I've had 5 appointments), Staszak PT is focusing on addressing faulty movement patterns which will resolve the presenting issue. I came in with chronic neck and upper back pain, as well as some ankle stiffness. They've been teaching me how to strengthen my TVA and glutes, work on ankle mobility, stabilize an old shoulder injury, and addressing things I've always assumed were just how I was made (I've got one foot that flairs out a little instead of pointing straight forward, and I'm slightly bowlegged). I've been diligent with my exercises, and I'm gradually feeling more stable and also feeling my muscles relax as they don't need to compensate for my poor movement patterns. That's leaving me feeling stronger and in less pain. I've worked with a handful of the staff (Mike and Mary, Emily, Audrey, Tina, Lori, and Shane) and they've all been great. They take detailed notes with each visit, so even when I'm handed off between team members, each person has been versed with my specific situation. read more

My history is I've been a high level gymnast then a professional modern ballerina ,avid skier , blew out my knees 3 times before so I've done many workouts and physical therapy this was the best EVER they want to get my whole body strong again , not just the area that was injured. Address the whole muscular. system, which is exactly what I need now that I'm old ). They have many modalities physical therapy, Pilates massage and many more they even have a gym with many more classes. The office people were great and friendly and welcoming I'm looking forward to working with them . I've been working with Staszak on chronic tendonitis in my knee and ankle off and on for the past two years (my insurance doesn't consistently cover PT so I have to take it a cluster of visits at a time). Their focus on therapeutic massage, exercise, and muscle manipulation is PT trifecta. They always get me back on my feet and moving well again. When I first came to them, I could barely walk two blocks. Since then I've been on walking tours of Italy and Greece, can climb hills and play on the beaches along the Oregon Coast. I'm incredibly thankful and am looking forward to it being safe (COVID) to visit them again. I've seen nearly everyone there, but Eric and Lori are my favorites. read more

I am enormously grateful to my physical therapist and massage therapists at Staszak Physical Therapy for literally giving me back my life. (Shane, Lori, and Jason, you know who you are!) I was suffering with debilitating hip pain for more than a year, and it wasn't until I began treatment with these caring and gifted practitioners that I finally found some relief. Simple things like stepping up and down onto a chair or standing up after sitting for fifteen or twenty minutes were near impossible. After just a few sessions, I began feeling better and getting back mobility and flexibility. I'm still on the mend, but the difference in the way I feel and my ability to go about my daily activities are gifts. I cannot recommend this facility highly enough. read more

When I first started here I was relived that I had finally found a home for recovery, mobility, and chronic pain. At first it was great, they would work with me having Trillium, but didn't accept my insurance. Things were going great, I was improving under Trish's help. After they switched me to another PT, I was not seeing the progression that hoped for. I said something and immediately the staff had a change of attitude towards me. When trying to make another apt, I was told I could not make a apt without being current on payments, I understood, so I sadly had to ask for help from a family member to keep my health number one. After making follow up appointments, I was called and told that my appointments had been cancelled and someone would call back. I was told that mike did not want to work with me....... Since I moved, I miss going here. The physical therapists are top notch, and they have a room full of equipment to work with if necessary. One star, all because of a paltry $30. I was mistakenly told I had a $30 co-pay. When I attempted to tell them otherwise; "No co-pay, no PT." Next appointment they said "A mistake had been made." No refund, no apology. Four weeks later, no refund and when I called, lots and lots of finger pointing and blaming others. Now six weeks later , still no refund! This review is specific to Jeff Soulia at Staszak. Jeff is an amazing physical therapist. He goes the extra mile for his patient and genuinely cares about your recovery. I had seen other PTs and they just taped it up and encouraged rest, focusing only on the symptoms. Jeff is the only one who tried to get to the root of the problem. After taking his advice and completing homework exercises, I have had marked improvement and am back to running after a very nasty knee injury. He also helped me to understand how all my body parts are connected which has led to improved posture and flexibility. I've been a patient of Mike Staszak and also Mary Foster-Staszak before they joined forces. Since becoming a patient at Staszak PT and Wellness, I've seen every one of their physical therapists in action and have been very pleased. I don't often write reviews, but I gotta say I'm actually impressed. Kind and knowledge staff with more comprehensive care than most (physical therapy, but also pilates, functional body movement specialists, trainers, fitness classes. They also have other services, like massage, but I haven't tried those yet.). They have helped relieve my symptoms while getting me in better shape. I think the owner did a wise thing and hired genuinely kind and knowledgeable people, instead of trying to make just knowledgeable people act nice. There's a huge difference. Staszak Physical therapy and wellness center deals with both mind and body. They are wiling to treat gently new injuries and then getting you back to wellness by working your body. I had a serious car crash back in October. I have love working with my PT's and message therapists Laurie is an a message therapist. I began with Mary as my massage therapist and then started pt with mike. I love the attention and care they have for my on going pain and the results I'm getting. I have a ways to go but they are encouraging and super supportive in helping. Also want to say that I have had these services by others in various clinics and I truly believe that not every pt or massage therapist can please or work for everyone. This experience is an individual thing. I am particular to whom I have work on my body because I need and desire as pacific skill set. would give 0 stars if possible. when i called in to set me appointment i was told the bill for 30 mins of physical therapy would be around 100$ I thought that was reasonable and set the appointment. when arrived they checked me in I received roughly 30 minuets of physical therapy than when heading out was billed 168.... I informed them that they said it should be around 100$ as per what I was informed on the phone. she said there is no way that was right, and then asked if I'd like to pay in full. i said yes. Paid my 168$ and proceded to find a new therapist closer to home. 40 days later I received a mailer asking to set more appointments. (at the time they wanted me to do 4 sessions a week 45 mins per and massage therapy afterwords they estimated 280 per visit or 1120 a week. until i hit my insurance deductible (4000$) ) so i went out found a new therapist closer to home at that point for a more reasonable price and called them to inform them that i did not need anymore mailers sent out because i found a new place closer to home. less than 30 days later they send me a bill for 13$ and stated that i was 60 days late. I had never received any bills prior and was informed at my first visit i was paid in full. at this point not only had i been miss informed about the initial visit price, and been hit up for 70% more. Than after informing them of my moving they send me a bill stating i was late? This is feeling like a reprisal... i called in and was told the front desk had no was of billing me in full because they wouldn't know the bill just a estimate of it. So either they dont have any clue what they charge for their services, they are so incompetent they miss estimated me twice and called it paid in full pricing or, are going after customers that have moved on to more competent and cost effective places. their service was no better or worse as far as the therapy. but their office billing and administration is either so inept they can not even properly bill 3 times in a row or are cruel towards their past or present customers. either way steer clear unless you want another place taking advantage of your wallet read more
