I'm in the area for work. I'm from Dallas, TX. I needed to do some laundry so I looked on google and yelp. South Main had some amazing reviews. So I headed over. It is 10 minutes from my hotel. And all I can say is, if I ever need to use a laundromat again, I wish I could come here. Clean, clean is an understatement. Friendly attendants. Shout out to Ms. Lori! The only time i saw her pause in cleaning was to help a customer. She swept, cleaned folding counters, wiped out the washer doors, and cleaned out lint traps. And all with a smile and looks to see if she was needed. I had extra on my card and leftover detergent and softener. I let Ms. Lori know and she immediately said, I'll give it to charity. I'm so thrilled when, in my travels, I discover businesses that have pride in their business, workers, and customers. South Main Laundromat is one of those places. read more

This place is clean and organized. Every time I'm there, there is always a staff member willing to help! They are cleaning all the time, and their hard work pays off. I come here once a week and wash for $6.00 (or $9.00 for a larger machine). The dryer is free for about 60 mins if use an in-house washer. Then it's an additional $0.65. I love how kind the staff is--they even had a table of free food on New Year's Eve. This is a great small laundromat! read more

It's been years since I needed to use a laundry mat. A lot has changed. A card is used instead of pockets full of quarters, and I was in and out in less than an hour. Young lady who worked there was super friendly and very helpful. Place was very clean and well kept. Every thing was working, no down machines. I would gladly go back. Ever had your clothes washed by a spaceship before? Look no further than South Main Laundromat. The machines here are brand new, look like they were designed by Stephen Hawking, and most importantly, work very nicely. I trusted some nice dress shirts among my other clothes to these machines, and the results were impressive. The front load machines are gentle, and the dryers are not fabric-destroying hot. I now go here regularly. Know this ahead of time - this laundromat works on a card system with "free drying time," which we all know just means that the wash price is higher to make up for it. Still, the card itself costs you only a dollar, and the washer prices are VERY reasonable: $3.84, $6.59, $8.59, and $11.69. Wanna pay even less? Tuesdays and Wednesdays are 20% off. I find these prices to be excellent, because I can do a week's laundry in the $6.59 machine (or the $5.27 machine as it were). Just make sure you understand the "free drying" system, because there are limits depending on which washer you use.Your card will be charged a little extra if you go over. But you shouldn't ever go over, because DAMN these dryers are fast! I put my clothes in a single 45 lb. dryer, and most of my clothes are dry in UNDER 25 minutes. Combined with the quick wash times, I can honesty be in and out of this place in a little under an hour, which is unprecedented. It's not in the best neighborhood, but I don't care, because it is perhaps the best laundromat I've ever been to. read more

Fastest dryer I've ever used had a comforter and sherpa blanket plus load of clothes and took maybe 13min to dry and I work third shift so it made me get to my nap time right on time! Machines are amazing! Very new and very large capacity! Came to wash comforters and blankets and they washed beautifully! Super wash for heavy soil only took 22 min 45 minutes of dryer time is free with a paid card.. Blankets and all were totally dry in about 30 minutes! The attendant was very helpful as well! Only thing I didn't understand from website is that you actually had to purchase a wash card with cash..had to walk down the street a bit to get the cash from an ATM..Loaded the card so that it will be a simpler process next time! Machines and the facility were very clean and well maintained! I would definitely recommend! read more
