My husband and I have been attending since, 2010 for him and since 2013 for me, we met many new friends through attending Small-Groups during the weekdays. There is a huge difference in my life with this being our second marriage, marrying a someone who is a believer in Jesus Christ, we pray together to strengthen our relationship and we can forgive and overcome through our faith, trust and through prayer. I also love to serve (volunteer) in the Kids Church area by assisting the teachers and enjoying this fun time with those wonderful kids! Couple times a year we do community events outside on our grass areas. It's really fun to meet more neighbors and to volunteer for the events, Trunk/Treat and Easter Egg Hunt. I have been going to this church for over 5 years, with getting actively involved recently. What I have learned is this church helps beginners find god, and truly connect with him. But not just by the sermons but by getting involved into smaller bible studies. That is where you truly learn to connect with god. I had a major issue with titling for years, and after many years of these sermons and discussions in small groups I finally got it. I have been a christian all my life but never wanted to get more involved. SMCC is not for everyone, but it is for many! They teach the right truths and are biblically sound. Yes pastor rick may not be perfect, but that is ok he is just a man. Please don't just listen online, that is not the same. You need to be going for at least 3 months before you can make a clear judgement of any church your going to! Trust me I have been in many different kinds churches than most people have, this one is amazing! The review on titling is harsh and should be taken down until you have given this church more time! I enjoy ever worship service and it is HEAVILY focus on GOD! Some of the best worship services you can get out there. They focus on having good equipment, singers and other musicians. This has been a great experience for me. I grew up in a Religion that I had so many questions and doubts even from the age of a teenager. Now well into my 60's and attending church after a 30 year hiatus, it feels good. You are not judged, you are welcome the minute you come in the doors, you share and hear experiences. The goal is your relationship with God, not a guilt trip. We went to this church twice about 7 years ago and regrettably we gave them our information. We have unsubscribed, replied STOP, EVERYTHING we are supposed to but this place is clearly ran by the same mafia that would come banging on our doors in Utah at all hours. Do try this place but giving them your info is like telling a creditor to call you. They don't stop. They don't take "no" as an answer. read more

Went to church yesterday,couldn't be happier. Pastor Tom is just down to earth! We all have a story,I've been looking for a church for almost 20years. I was told about the church from the nurse (home care) for my husband. It will be 3years here in utha. When I met my husband I was turned away from the church I was going to. My first husband had passed away then my dad shortly after my husband. I think faith brought me my husband (now) . I was devastated by the fact of how my church had treated my husband and myself. Since coming to SMCC I'm starting to have that feeling of a church family. I haven't gotten involved yet but some it will come . Yes the music is slightly louder,but I can over look that. The children's program is awesome. They have plenty of kids rooms so your child will be with kids their own age. There are fun age appropriate toys in each room for the kids to play with and the teachers are great. My favorite part is that there is an indoor playplace for the kids to play in after church. Music, people and atmosphere are great. However the pastor's main focus is on numbers, bragging about church size etc. The messages are ok, but the Pastor does not embody his messages. He's made several comments while on the stage that he is an introvert, but it really seems that he doesn't have a heart for people. We were ultimately turned off and started attending a church a few miles north. read more

Being a skeptic when it comes to church and doctrine, I have really come to appreciate this church. After attending for 5 years, I feel like I can write a fair review. This has become a place that feels like home, even though it's big. There are so many opportunities to get involved in many types of groups. It would take a while to list them all. The pastors are happy and willing to defend their beliefs from the Bible, and only the Bible which is refreshing. There are meetings a few times a year where they talk about how the church is doing as a whole (finances, baptisms, etc.) but the rest of the time they are focusing on sharing the gospel in a hopeful and helpful way. What I would say is, "Come try it for 30 days." You will be able to have a better feel for the community this way. read more

This place is a joke. The church is next to a neighborhood and blares music booming the surrounding houses. Three times a week, times range from 7am-10pm, depending on the day. Even had some 1am booming of the houses thanks to them. They claim to be about Jesus and love thy neighbor, couldn't be farther from the truth as they constantly disrespect neighboring families.
