So I stopped by when I was walking around the Movieworks Plaza and was delightfully surprised to find a wonderful place full of great and interesting ideas for beautifying with greenery. I loved the summer daisies they had. The sedum reminded me to always make sure to plant that behind a deer fence because Bambi and friends consider the flowers that bloom in September as a delicacy to enjoy. The colorful selection of bee balm is a great plant for attracting bees, butterflies and hummingbirds to your garden\. Twig's Garden Center advertises itself as a full-service home & garden center and gift shop. Their website says they aim to "inspire creativity for your home and garden." There is lots of garden supplies and Twig's says it has Jackson's "largest supply of annual and perennial plants and shrubs." Equally important to all these flowers are nice employees who seemed very knowledgeable about all things garden-related. For the person who enjoys gardening in Jackson, Wyoming, this is must stop. It was a touchy situation -- the ski patrol are a hearty bunch, and a flower arrangement for their locker room couldn't be too, for a lack of a better work, girly. At the same time, it needed to be fragrant to stand up to the funk of a ski-boot-dense locker room. The girls did a great job putting together exactly the right tasteful arrangement, and it was successfully delivered to the patrollers as a symbol of appreciation of their hard work. WHAT AN AWFUL EXPERIENCE!!!!! I called a few days in advance…read moreto order flowers for a friend's birthday. On the day the arrangement was to be delivered, the owner, Jan, called my friend and left a message saying that she only had a "ONE HOUR WINDOW" to deliver. She left a number to call- my friend called 3 times, and offered to come get them, but did not receive a call back. By 3PM, I called to cancel the order- no call back. Called again at 4:30 - no answer. I said in my message that I was very dissapointed. The owner then called my friend at 6PM and said she was on her way over. She did not deliver the flowers until 7:30PM! Jan then called me and said it was my friend's fault , that she did not listen to the whole message which stated she would bring them after 5. When I said that I expected birthday flowers to be delivered on that day, she said, "she was busy all afternoon'. My friend later told me that the message did not say anything about 5PM. She did say that she would not charge me for the flowers, which I was about to say was very generous and that I would appreciate just not being charged the delivery fee. BUT- to add insult to injury- she said, - sarcastically- "I am sorry you were dissapointed" and HUNG UP ON ME! Also- she never once apologized. I called back and she would not pick up! Her loss- my YELP. I know that there are many other lovely florists in Jackson who take pride in their businesses and put SERVICE first- and are honest in their dealings with people. By the way, the arangement was full of unopened lillies, not creative at all, with a scraggly silver bow around the vase.

I called VG, chatted with very personable Morgan. "Let's see what we can do," she said, and called back a few minutes later, "Adrian will be there this afternoon about 3." Adrian showed up about 2, analyzed the problem, returned a few minutes later with a new solenoid, and the zone was up and working. This town is famous for "oh, we'll put you on our waiting list, but it might be three or four weeks before we can get to you." So, service within about five hours is unheard of. Three cheers for the Village Gardener. Five cheers for Adrian!
