The doctors and nurses went above and beyond to try and save my grandson. He was moved to the 10th floor icu and they gave him the best care possible. They showed so much compassion and love not only for my grandson but for my daughter and son-in-law as well. Unfortunately my grandson didn't make it but it wasn't because of lack of effort on their part. I want to commend the doctors and nurses in the emergency room and especially the entire staff on the 10th floor. As grandparents we appreciate everything from the bottom of our hearts.

I was there since 8 o'clock in the afternoon and I didn't leave till about two. The reason I'm giving this one star is because I didn't feel like I was getting listened to yesterday. The doctors were very rude. I believe the Doctor Who checked me yesterday again was Miss Parker and she was very dismissive and I understand that y'all were shortstaffed, but at the end of the day I feel like it's the doctor's job to make the patient feel safe and secured and besides being dismissive, I don't know what this position is called, but the lady Evelyn, who was taking the patients to their rooms back-and-forth and giving discharge papers was extremely rude and I hope if I ever come back that I don't have to talk to her since the hospital was shortstaffed last night and I couldn't talk to Miss Parker again about more questions. I thought that I was comfortable talking to Miss Evelyn, but she kept repeating herself and getting louder, dismissing my questions as well and when giving me my discharge papers, she told me that y'all would never say no to a visit with me because I don't have insurance but to stop coming back to the hospital because the things that I'm trying to get looked at as far as my personal problems are not for the hospital ! And don't get me wrong. I was very patient the whole entire time very understanding that y'all were shortstaffed, but at the end of the day like I said, I don't understand why she was getting repeated on purpose, nodding her head and having very rude body language, I wish I got the students name who had asked me questions before anybody came in my room, but he had glasses and he was a student doctor. If I'm not mistaken, he was the only one who made me feel like I was being listened to yesterday as a patient. He actually answered more of my questions and the five minutes that he was in the room with us, me and my boyfriend. He was very understanding. He did super good and honestly asked the most questions that I've ever been asked, unfortunately I won't be coming back due to this situation but again I just felt like the whole situation wasn't called for. Who says don't come back when the only reason I came back was because the doctors who saw me in my room last time told me to come back if my symptoms came again?

Endeavor is a great option for surgeries, especially if you do not have insurance…read more I had both of my bunionectomies done through Endeavor and I am extremely grateful for both opportunities. The staff is extremely kind and professional in both the scheduling office and the operating clinic itself. They answered all of my questions and uncertainties and gave me ample information on the procedures, what to expect during the trial, the risks and benefits, everything. The facilities are clean, they Door Dash food in for every meal and have a bunch of snacks on standby so you don't have to worry about hospital food, and they treat you like a human being every step of the way. I have recommended them to a couple of people shortly after my first bunionectomy, and one has already gone through the same procedure with them herself. It is worth noting that Endeavor is only responsible for you during your trial, so when you're discharged everything after is up to you. They disclose every possibility to you prior and during your time with them, so the choice to proceed with the trial and take on the potential risks is ultimately up to you. However, you can choose to opt out at any point should you change your mind. As mentioned above, I think that this is a great opportunity and an important one to be aware of for those without insurance who may not be able to otherwise have the surgeries Endeavor provides. You can have your procedure done for free while being paid for your time and cooperation. They partner with experienced surgeons and doctors, so you don't have to be worried by a 'sloppy' surgery or bad looking scars. I credit Endeavor with bettering my quality of life and the lack of daily pain I'd felt prior to my surgeries with them. I hope this reassures someone of their choice to take this opportunity.

What kind of cold environment is this place for pregnant women????…read more My husband came with me and they had him immediately change his mask like it makes a difference. I had to go here for a thorough check up during my pregnancy and I will say the people working here are not personable at all. They are all strictly business. Mind you, I had different doctors checking me each time and different sonogram technician which was fine. However some of these people were kinda abrasive and some were like robots. I asked a doctor about taking psyllium husk for constipation and the dr was like, "What's that??" Um... really? I had asked them for my medical records to take to my doctor and they were like "your OB should have them but if you want it it's going to be $25." I called again a week later to get my results and the lady on the phone was like "Its going to be $75 dollars" and when I told her it was just quoted to me as $25 she said the price went up. What?! Not to mention she was pretty short and snappy on the phone. If your doctor recommends this place, ask them to refer you elsewhere.

I am 20% SC disabled with knee issues and decided to give the VA a try as a primary insurance. I…read moremade an appointment and they scheduled me labs and a PCP appointment a week apart. Scheduling was a bit difficult and could not be done online, maybe because of the facility. The day of the labs I went in and took a number. They take 3 at a time and I waited about 30 minutes to have them done. They didn't see my lab orders at first so called down the my team who apparently forgot to put them in. No big deal, 3 minutes later, and 6 tubes of blood later, I was done. Next week my appointment is at 10:30 with Dr. Antonio Martinez. I get to the facility at 10am and the lot is packed. Drove around for 10 minutes and stalked some guy to get a spot. Checked in at 10:10am. Sat down and was called back at 10:15 - 15 minutes early (I was shocked). Met with a nurse who took my vitals and some info since it was my first time there. Got brought into the doctors office at 10:30. Here is where it gets interesting. Dr. Martinez actually wanted to talk to me! We spent 90 minutes going over everything and anything in my medical history and his thoughts on what my civilian treatment had been. He has only been with the VA for 2 years and, to paraphrase him, "Doctors are only interested in getting patients in and out to make more money. I am not like that." I was floored. He explained all of my test results and even discussed why some of the tests are not quite valid. I asked if my current prescriptions can be transferred to the VA and he just put in new ones and asked "Would you like to pick them up or mailed to your home?". Wow, Blue Cross required me to join a more expensive plan for mail order. 4 days later my prescriptions arrived. I know this may be the unicorn of VA experiences because based on everything I have heard VA healthcare is a nightmare. This hasn't been my case. Hopefully this is an example of how things are changing.

Dropped off my dd214 and to get an ID system is broken, women behind the desk tells me I don't qualify for VA even though Im a 100 percent disabled and registered and empaneled to the blue team with Dr. Martinez. Therefore my initial appointment gets canceled. Fast forward April 2020 I finally get through for them to schedule me for an appointment after calling so many different numbers I gave up and called my social worker who had to call someone directly to get me an appointment. The women schedules me for labs and my initial for April 4 @ 9:30 on a SATURDAY I asked her if they were open on Saturday and she replied yes. So I didn't question her further show up on the Saturday the gate is locked and no one is in the parking lot. I don't ever post negative reviews but this has been so ongoing and frustrating that Im so fed up with the VA services at Frank Tajeda. Thankfully I have tricare prime but in order to do my TDRL it has to be at the damn VA.
