The hotel suggested we take a cab but we managed to pull our 24 inch luggage from the hotel. We cut through the Holiday Inn parking lot. I wouldn't recommend you walking unless you're very mobile. It took us under 15 minutes. We enjoyed the hotel. Very upbeat. We noticed a photo booth on the mezzanine and table tennis. We had a choice of 500 points or food credit $10 per person. I took the food credit as we were going to eat before leaving for the terminal the next morning. Spent about another $12 USD out of pocket. Standard breakfast food options. We also had hotel bar food for dinner the day we checked in after the two fish and chip places suggested by the hotel didn't work out. Ordered: * hubby had chicken wings * I had Mac n cheese balls * BIL had chicken curry * sis had egg rolls We each were given a free cocktail voucher. It was like a fruit punch. Also got local beer. There's a shopping center across the street. It was a Sunday so stores closed early.

The bar on the ground floor is pretty cool and I enjoyed all the decor. We were given a complementary welcome drink, which was greatly appreciated. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was nice. Unfortunately, I only had about 90 minutes of sleep due to going to bed late and needing to get up early to catch a bus back to Heathrow. The bed and pillows were lovely and there was nice lighting, even a motion sensitive light under the bed so you didn't trip over things in the dark. I wouldn't hesitate to book this hotel again. It was nicer than I anticipated and felt "cool" and "trendy." Drink were a bit pricy but there are countless options within a short walk.

Great value for the price. This hotel is an old stage coach with cobblestone line parking lot, you…read moreare reminded of it history as you move about the small lobby and narrow halls. The staff is very friendly, wake up calls are available, and tea is available in your room. The outlets are European outlets and you must buy a converter if you want to use your American products i.e. cell phone, flat iron, etc. The English buffet breakfast for $6.95 was amazing, link sausage, English style poached eggs and hash brown's, stewed tomatoes, beans, fresh fruit cereal, steamed mushrooms and more totally worth the price. Many of the locals stop by for breakfast. The adjoining bar next door was a nice place for an evening night cap and the locals gathered there to talk as familiar soft rock tunes like Journey played I the background. We walked up several quaint steps down a narrow hall to our room. Our room was clean however throughout the night there was a turbulent thunder and lightning storm. I had to get up and close each one of the four windows that rolled outward and inward to shut and one window in the bathroom would not close. The staff was friendly and assisted us as we scheduled a cab for our next destination. Four stars because the wifi was not strong or consistent. Worth the money for the experience of history of quaint town of South Hampton, but don't expect the Hilton.

It was very very hot when we were there July 8, 2026. The showers were another huge issue. They have ZERO water pressure. Taking a shower was a joke. The water literally just trickled and when I say trickled it was not enough to even lather your hair. Also, it was so damn hot what was trickling out of it. I could not get it cooler. Horrible horrible place to stay. Wasted $$ for sure.

When I booked the cruise I decided to splurge and upgrade to a Queens Grill suite. The suite itself was very nice. My butler was...adequate. He did what I asked of him but his service was indifferent. Maybe he'd been on the ship for a while and was fatigued, maybe he has other personal stuff going on...I get it. I just felt he didn't go the extra mile, as so many advertisements claim they would. The food was okay, nothing spectacular. I've had better at high-end restaurants. The disembarkation process was a mess. I asked several crew members what the process is (I have disabilities and occasionally need extra help), and none of them could give me a clear answer. One actually said "I don't know, we'll figure it out tomorrow." I don't know about you, but when I'm paying $12k+ for a cruise and I ask questions they don't have answers to I want someone to respond "I'm not sure, but let me find an answer for you" instead of "We'll figure it out tomorrow." The excursions and ports were amazing, but overall the service I received lacked the polish and excellence the Cunard name is known for. I might go on another cruise, but it won't be with Cunard.

The company's expectation it would seem, as that the customer would open a suspicious looking email and click on an unidentified link. Cunard canceled my trip, and 5 hours later when I tried to rebook they told me they'd sell me an inferior room for twice the price and if I didn't pay it they'd keep my deposit. I chose Cunard because of their patina of elegance and sophistication. My experience was akin to dealing with Frontier Airlines
