It's always an unfortunate thing for card shops that I like looking at cards and reading them, but dislike buying them.
You could call this place a card house, except for that it's walls are not really made out of cards. However, cards, of the greeting card type, line this place from floor to ceiling like wallpaper. Funny wallpaper. Sentimental wallpaper. Colorful wallpaper. There is a great selection of cards here - so if you like buying greeting cards, you definitely won't be disappointed. My roommate picks up some real purrdy cards here from time to time. She looks at cards a lot an informs me that there are load of cards there than can't be found anywhere else. Not even in Merlin's beard or beneath Buddha's toes.
It's also a local place, so more fun by its innate nature than something like W H Smith. Rah rah shish boom bah! read more
