Dr. Kapatais was referred to me by a friend whose referrals I trust... so I gave in and went. I honestly didn't know if she'd spend two minutes with me or even do the testing because doctors seem to always want to tell you "you're fine" and send you on your way. I know I am a pretty healthy girl, but I was really interested to see my deficiencies. Not only did Dr.K listen to me, she helped me navigate through my fear of flying, which came up randomly because she actually talks to you and helped me understand more natural and realistic ways of dealing with my health, which is what I was so excited about. One experience that stood out to me was when I went in for a gynecological concern. The female physician completely minimized my pain and didn't seem familiar with what I was describing. What made it even more disappointing was that the wall in her office had a sign saying she specializes in women's health, but that was definitely not reflected in my visit. Overall, I think they're fine for simple, everyday care, but I would not recommend them for anything more complex or specialized.

However, right now for example, I have been waiting seven days for a response to a medication pre-auth question I had for her and have written twice more- nothing. No response. I have called three times and am on hold so long I must hang up (12-15 minutes on hold before hanging up.) I've had to drive up to the office in the past just to get through to someone. This is utterly ridiculous.
