I am a collector of tokens and medals, and I bought a large handful there at prices that were reasonable to low. Their prices on Pendleton blankets (the best blankets ever) are reasonable, but we had luggage-space problems, so we didn't buy any. My wife and I both spent quite a bit here, and are still pleased with what we bought. Next time we are in Juneau, it is definitely on our list!

I found a 1930's Tin Litho of an Ocean Liner from a travel agency. Rare and hard to find in the condition of this one. It was large and expensive and would have to be shipped to California. After chatting with John for a while, he made me feel comfortable about making the purchase and the shipping. It arrived in a couple of weeks. It was super well packaged and arrived in excellent condition with no issues. If you have a chance when in Juneau I highly recommend that you stop by and visit John and his very knowledgeable team. Immediately across from giant, multi-story cruise ships is a street with a lot of businesses, and there was a luggage shop. Oren showed us a number of pieces of luggage trying to meet the criteria we laid out for him. He was successful, finding us a rolling ruffle, with lower and upper storage areas. Perfect. If you find a need for luggage, this is the place in Juneau. And we later found out that it was less expensive than others we later discovered. Thanks, Oren. And they have an enormous, beautiful, full black lab - massif mix who is gentle and friendly. Give him a hug from us.

The airline lost our luggage so we got on the cruise literally with what we had on our backs. We had 45 minutes in Juneau to shop between the gangway dropping and our first excursion. As we got closer, I called the store and asked if they could please pull a few things in our sizes so we could just quickly try on and run out. We ran to the store from the ship and the ladies handed my husband and I stacks to take straight to the fitting rooms. They took excellent care of us and we were in and out in 15 minutes with enough to get us through the rest of our trip. We got pants, socks, hiking shoes, shirts, undergarments, and belts. We're so thankful for the staff of Foggy Mountain going out of their way to help us in a pinch.
