I would give them 4.5 stars... The good: they have very competitive pricing, Pablo was always nice and upfront about issues, and once they started it was quick to complete. Due to competitive pricing they have a lot of clients and they told us right off the bat that work wouldn't start right away especially because of permit approvals. I think people that don't know the industry or have never done a construction project fail to comprehend this. Patience is indeed a virtue. Amazing Job. Amazing Company. I had never heard of Southeastern Fence until I saw their reviews online. I was looking for companies to bid an 800' white pvc fence for a property I managed in Aventura. Of the quotes I collected, Southeastern Fence was the only company I hadn't worked with previously. When the owner came to meet with me (Pablo Marquez) I liked him right away. His quote was in the middle as far as pricing comparison was concerned. Based on my recommendation, my board of directors selected Southeastern Fence. It wasn't going to be an easy job. Besides getting the underground utilities marked, we had an existing natural gas line that needed to be relocated, plus permits for the gas line work AND the fence. And then, just as the work had begun, Hurricane Irma happened. Our job took a bit longer than expected, but Pablo kept in contact with me and kept me updated throughout the entire process. Being a reasonable person with reasonable expectations, I know that the delays delays were absolutely justified and no fault of Southeastern Fence. They're a fence company, so obviously they had tons of emergency post-hurricane repairs to deal with. (And there were also delays from the City with the permitting approvals and inspections). Pablo handled all of the permitting, utility companies, and the plumbing contractor for the gas line. He even repaired our existing fencing that was damaged after the storm. The price was reasonable, Southeastern Fence went well beyond the original scope of work, and the fence is flawless. Definitely intend to do business with them again. I had had SFC Come out and install a 6' vinyl fence about three years ago along the front of my property and a 6' green chain link around the back. Pablo and his team were professional and timely. The communication through the project was top notch and the recommendations he gave when discussing how it should be installed, gates, and down to waterline was what I needed. The final product is amazing and because of it there has been many compliments from neighbors. They came out and did estimate a few days later and did not leave a written estimate, but instead say that they will email. After 1 week when I noticed that I did not receive estimate, I called and left message advising them that I am yet to receive estimate. It is now 4 months. I don't why they would have come out to do to an estimate, if they never planned on providing the actual estimate. Poor use of time on their part. read more

These guys are great. I had to get a fence to go around my dumpster. I ordered a Pvc fence. They gave me a good price compared to others. City hall took a long time to approve the permits and had to make changes to bring it up to code. Jr. and the other guys in the office were very efficient and called and emailed me every step of the way. Very professional. They found out when the job was all done, they were honest enough to tell me that City hall overcharged me for the permit and refunded me back the difference with a check. It has been about a year later now and the fence still looks brand new. I highly recommend this company. read more

Five stars for the final fence presentation, Zero stars for time to complete the project and their customer service. We met with Ross on November 2017, paid him half and was promised to start the fence in 7 weeks. Almost three months later after lots of empty promises and excuses from the owner, finally two people crew showed up, working 2, 3 hours shift and not showing up for days and even weeks. The fence was completed two weeks ago and they surely demanded the final half payment the same day. As I said, the fence looks nice, BUT, we painted the posts, provided the caps and painted them as well. At the end, the demarcation line of my property was set several inches too short in three of the four corners of the fence. They final work is nice but I will not contract with them ever again. Their workmanship does not make up for their lack of reliability and constant broken promises. Two and a half stars is my rating. read more

The worst customer service . I had an appointment scheduled for an estimate, I left work early to meet estimator at my home and no one ever showed up. I called and they gave me the run around and said they would call me back. I called them back within the hour about 20 times as I waited and no one picked up. I understand 100% they are busy due to the hurricanes aftermath but it only takes 2 mins to call a customer and tell them you won't be able to make the appointment. I was really hoping to use them to install my fence but I will defiantly be looking for another reliable company. Hopefully after this hurricane hype they change their way of communicating to customers because clearly they can not take a high volume of calls and or appointments. It took my quite a long time to review fence installers and I must say that it was a daunting task as many have proven to be unreliable. Some took over a week to return an initial call and some never returned calls. One came out and only wanted to sell one kind of fence. Then I found Southeastern Fence and was pleasantly surprised. Pablo came out right away and was very friendly and quite organized doing everything on his laptop instead of a clip board. He measured twice just to make sure when I had a question about the total linear footage. He understood the urgency of replacing this fence quickly as it was destroyed by a car running through the side and the back of it as it actually went through my yard. He was able to get the permit in a week and then started to remove the existing fence immediately. The whole process of removal, disposal, and installation only took 5 days with his crew of 3 very professional and hard working men. Not once did I see them doing anything but diligently working to get this job done. I can't recommend them strongly enough.
