Update as of 3/1/24: One thing to keep in mind which I did not know; if you ever become a client of Zofe and ever need repairs for any reason they have a minimum baseline charge of $1,500. So basically, if your repairs are not even close to that number that is what you're paying at bare minimum. My story is: Recently I had some work done at my residence and I contacted Zofe Fence to come and quote me a repair. They never came out but communicated with me very professionally on the phone and then we moved the conversation to text messaging as most places do. This repair was only needed because due to some construction changes and not on Zofe's quality of work in 10/2021. I shared with them what I needed, pictures and they immediately told me their $1,500 minimum charge on repairs. Obviously, I said no because it did not make any sense. I was disappointed but their policy is their policy so I thought it was important to share with Yelp so you can make informed decisions. I guess I will find someone else to help me repair what I need or spend sometime on YouTube learning how to fix it myself. read more

I got a quote from this company a year ago and since then I keep receiving emails from them with promotions. Usually $150 off of a $3000+ purchase. I'm not sure a 5% discount will convince someone to purchase a new fence, but this isn't the only thing wrong with their marketing... Every month I unsubscribe from their list, yet I still receive a new email the following month. I have unsubscribed at least 5 times that I remember. I think that's illegal under CAN-SPAM laws. Free estimate was scheduled a day after my initial contact, estimated time of completion was 6 weeks, took 8 weeks in fact but that's most oikely because of city being slow on issuing permit, which was expected of the city anyway. The installation of backyard fence, including hauling old fence was done in one day and very happy with result. Price was reasonable too. Everyone involved were super friendly. I'd recommend this business for anyone needing fence projects. Update: gate latch was having slight difficulty to latch, so contacted them to fix it. Now 10 days later no one came to fix. There is no response to my last text reminding of fix request. The latch is now even more off that the gate won't shut at all. I will be happy to update review to better one but till then star will be 1. Update: finally got guys come fix latch. There are a couple more minor concern raised, the guys talked to the office and promised to come fix other issues. Once that's done, stars go back to 5. I chose this company to do two fence projects, one at my residence and another at another property I own. I previously gave them a good review. However, I am here to provide an update. About a year after the fence was installed at my residence, I re did the landscaping in the yard. When two banana trees were taken down, three sections of fence that were behind and hidden by the bananas were leaning significantly, with the posts very loose in the ground. I immediately called Zofe and asked them to come out and look at the problem and fix it. They responded by telling me that if I paid them $800 they would come fix it but they refused to accept any responsibility for the issue. Note that they didn't even take the time to come out and look at the problem before declaring it wasn't anything that they did or didn't do! Hmmmm, not good treatment of a customer who gave them two jobs, and a good review! I then had no choice and hired another fence company to fix the issue. They found that Zofe failed to use cement around the posts of the leaning fence sections. That is 100% mandatory per Pompano Beach building code. Ironic in that a permit was pulled for the job. Once the repair was completed I again called Zofe and told them what I discovered. I showed them pictures of the fence post holes. Their response remained the same, " we didn't cause this issue and we don't trust your claim that the fence posts had no concrete". Needless to say I'll never use them again, and I suggest you never do either. No respect for the customer and shoddy work is what you get with Zofe. read more

After months of going back and forth asking for different quotes, on the day that we were going to sign the contract, they came with a new number that was 30% higher than agreed price which was quoted just 30 days prior. Their reason was an increase in lumber prices (which have actually been coming down). When asked how much they were getting the wood for they refused to answer. Look elsewhere. read more

I'm so frustrated with this company. We signed an agreement on June 1st, 2021 and gave a 50% deposit of $4000.00 with a promise that there was a four week delay due to shortage in materials. It has been 4 months since and I still don't have a fence. This entire time, I have not received a single update from the company on the status of my installation, not even a phone call to apologize for the delay. My husband has had to be the one to call monthly to see where we are with the process. There has been complete lack of communication from their part and frankly I don't understand the good reviews. I understand there is a process and things get delayed, but at the very least, I think we are owed a thorough follow up and proper customer service given the price we are paying. read more

Be content with sub-standard quality as they do not put any effort into using the right materials for the right task, they will use spare materials to make ugly non-professional cuts to your installation 5. Be ready to work with a company that cuts corners and assumes that most people are not familiar with proper and professional work 6. Be ready to work with a company that submits your permit wrong multiple times and causes delays 7. Be ready to work with a company that does not train their employees so they do not know basic Florida code Zofe fence can break anything and they will not make themselves responsible. They broke our main water line and sprinkler system. Zofe fence attached gate posts with cheap L bracket and no metal insert, of course the gate soon began hanging and dragging on the floor.
