Would give NO star if I could. In June 2021, we hired this company to spray for fungus and to…read moreinstall a moisture barrier in our crawl space. The moisture barrier was a massive disappointment and disaster! Two nice young men were sent to do the job, The scope of work was to lay down thick plastic on top of our clay foundation that was to go 2 ft up the side of all the walls, footings and posts and be nailed in place with special nails/screws. They laid down what looks like thin painters plastic, did not attach to the foundation or the walls, they laid cut up pieces over another and did not get even close to the walls.. Pieces were also laid over piping, wires and cables that we could no longer access without cutting the plastic. The young men left and said they would be out to finish the job in a couple days. A coupe days passed and we did not see them again. We called Tim to come out and take a look at what had been done. The job was no complete, nor acceptable. It appeared 3 year old's had a plastic party under our house. It was a total mess.. Mud everywhere, puddles of water on top of the plastic, and some of the nails that were used had popped out because they were not installed correctly, Tim said he would take care of the issues ASAP. We waited and waited and never heard from him again. Nobody contacted us or sent an invoice. Fast forward several months a woman from their office called and asked for payment. I explained to her they will receive payment when the job complete. I told her the plastic they installed has now been washed away because it was not nailed into position and that we are in the process of hiring another company to do the job they didn't finish. I told her we would give them an opportunity to finish the job and would gladly pay them for it once it's done properly. This week we received our first billing statement via Certified mail with a hand written note, "You have 10 days from opening this bill to make payment or action will be taken." They asked us to pay them $2,800 and tacked on a $20.83 finance charge to boot. I will say the moisture barrier part was a job well done. I have absolutely no issue paying for the fungus spray.

I paid good money for a termite protection plan, a plan that you have to have an inspection before receiving. Years into paying for this service, termite damage appeared. The company refused to honor their responsibility of paying for the damages. So save your money, and put it to the side to pay for any possible damages you may have because Cook's system doesn't work and they do not back their protection plan. Yes I canceled my service with them and, at the same time I canceled their services with my church. They continued to charge my church for several months after and have not tried to reconcile that account either. I guess the name should be Crooks' Pest Control.

Scorpion got paid up front for encapsulation work under our home, then failed to promptly start the…read morejob. Then Scorpion failed to complete the job for which they were contracted (2022). The business and the owner would not return calls. In the end we had to hire someone else to re-do work done and finish the job for which Scorpion contracted. BBB has other reviews that should also be considered. I DO NOT recommend this company.
