The over-the-phone order (I'm in California) with Cody was easy, personable, professional, friendly, helpful, and Cody was patient with me in getting just what I wanted for my aunt's 83rd birthday (Aug. 11, 2021). :) I had four arrangements picked out online that I possibly wanted to purchase. Cody did say that they may not be able to make an arrangement exactly as I wanted as they were low on certain flowers at the time I phoned him, due to being very busy. Cody even suggested I go to another florist who might possibly have more of a supply, but I didn't want to risk using a florist that wouldn't meet my standards and so I told Cody I would be more than willing to work with him in getting what I wanted because I believe in him and Fountain Designs so much. :) Cody was able to make an arrangement from one of my choices and the only flower they couldn't include in the arrangement was a lily, but I suggested a hydrangea and it worked beautifully in the arrangement. :) I had tried three different florists before coming across Fountain Designs two years ago, and this was my second yearly order with them, and I plan to keep them for all my florist needs!! :) I love how they sent me emails when I purchased the flowers, then again when the flowers were delivered and then a picture of the arrangement that was delivered... they kept me up-to-speed in all ways possible. :) Being I was in California making a phone order, I was putting my wants into another person's hands, and by not being there in person or being able to pick them up myself, to maybe request a change or to even ask to add an extra flower or two, I was worried about the final end result. Also, in the past, I've felt that the other florists I have tried, have cut a corner here and there on my out-of-town/state orders, making the arrangements less-than what was pictured (but still charging the same price) because they don't have to deal directly/in-person with me. In a sense, it's like... what they (me) don't know, won't hurt them (me). But family members have sent me photos of what they received from the other florists and I was disappointed in what I paid for and in what my family actually got. For the last two years, I have had full faith and trust in Cody and Fountain Designs with no worries and they have exceeded my expectations!! :) I highly recommend Fountain Designs to everyone who desire a beautiful flower arrangement with great customer service!! Recently I placed a large order while out of town as I needed the shipment by today. However, my banking instiution placed a hold on transactions thinking someone else was making fraudulent charges. Not so. I received a call from the company by a person named Maria who noticed my card was declined. She offered to manually charge the card for me in an effort to expedite the order as I needed it by 11-14-2014. She was the one who suggested maybe our bank had locked the card fo the above reaon. She was correct! The bank released the monies and she offered to 2nd day air. THAT IS WHAT I CALL SERIOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! Lacking elsewhere in Society. Of course me not knowing what to do, Amber was contacted by the venue owner and boy did she jump right in! She got to the venue as soon as she could and in an hour meeting got more done and organized that my previous coordinator had over the course of a year. She was precise, fast, and such a joy to work with. She helped decorate and make sure that everything was in order to had over to another coordinator for the evening of my wedding. She got my bridal party through rehearsal and the came back the next morning. My wedding day would not have happened without her and thank goodness for her. The food was late being delivered and we received no phone call to advise us that they were running late!!!! We had to call them!!!! The food was not hot nor did they bring us anything to warm it up with. The chicken breast were beyond dry!!!! Desert sand with tumbleweed blowing in the wind comes to mind when I describe and visualize just how dry the chicken was!!!! Dessert was not what the desert we ordered and appeared to have been store bought, frozen, and been thawed out, but yet we we're charged $51.00 for an $8.00 store bought cake. The Red Diamond tea was store bought for $2.88 at Wal-mart, but we were charged $18.00 for two gallons. They brought no serving utensils for any of the food items we ordered. The dinner plates, forks, knives, spoons, and cups were brought with enough for 18 people, but there was not enough napkins for 18 people and there were no dessert plates. The chicken was hella dry. The roasted potato's were hard as a rock, were not completely cooked, and could have been used as a weapon. The only positive thing about the entire catering experience was that the asparagus was good and cooked. I will never ever ever ever ever use this company for any event personally or professionally. This was the first time using them and it was an EPIC fail in supporting local business!!!!
