Knowing how hectic the week before Christmas is for a hairdresser, my husband found this place and booked a massage for me with a random therapist. Normally, I would've told him to not worry about doing such a thing (because the massage would've just been eh) but being in such bad shape, I happily accepted. Sheree was friendly and welcoming. She asked what my needs were, what has worked for me in the past and she actually listened. The massage itself wasn't just a run of the mill head to toe job. Because she really listened, she spent extra time on the areas I really needed it - and, she is intuitive when it comes to body work, as I was able to really relax into the massage. During the hour of massage, she asked about her pressure (which, I can never get a deep enough massage and she delivered) and asked a few other questions about sinuses and digestive issues. She is knowledgeable, confident and I could tell that she cares about what she is doing. After all is said and done, I really wasn't expecting much, but Sheree had me walking out on clouds. She is an awesome therapist and if she were in my hometown, she'd be my go-to gal!

When Mary came to get me, she was warm and professional and took time to confirm the type of massage and any specific pressure points to focus on. The massage itself was amazing. She assured us that she would call us with the results because we both live out of town but when the results came in she refused to explain them to us unless we made another appointment. He paid 140$ and I paid 150$ to get our bloodwork done and find out the results just to be told we would each have to pay another 140$ to have the results explained to us. I would give some staff members a five star rating but the fact that the owner will not follow through on her own promises drags down the review.

I was really hoping to find someone who could recreate the style I was used to back home. I found this salon a few months ago and had been seeing one of the brow stylists, who was fantastic. She understood exactly what I was trying to achieve and helped me gradually get my brows back to the shape I loved. Since eyebrow growth takes time, we've been working toward that goal over multiple appointments. Unfortunately, her schedule has been a bit inconsistent lately, so I stopped in today after the gym hoping another stylist could help. Before we started, I explained in detail what I had been working on with the other brow artist and asked several questions to make sure she was comfortable maintaining that same shape. She assured me she understood and told me to trust her. Unfortunately, the result was the exact opposite of what I had asked for. It felt like my concerns weren't listened to, and months of progress toward growing my brows back have now been undone. Brows take weeks to grow back and often months to reshape, so it's incredibly disappointing to feel like I'm starting over. What made the experience even more frustrating was that I spent a significant amount of time explaining exactly what I was trying to accomplish because I wanted to avoid this outcome. I left feeling like I had wasted both my time and the progress I'd made over the past few months. It was simply a very inconvenient experience that could have been avoided if the stylist had been upfront about not being familiar with the technique or shape I was looking for. I'm sure this stylist may do a great job for clients looking for a different brow style, but if a client is asking for a specific approach that you're not confident you can achieve, it's much better to be honest than to promise you can. Setting the right expectations is so important. I wondered if I was just being overly critical, but when I got home, my fiancé immediately noticed the difference and even commented that my brows didn't turn out as well as they had before. I'll continue booking with the original stylist because she truly understood what I was looking for, but I wanted to share my experience so others know to request the stylist whose work aligns with the look they're trying to achieve.
