The lighting and ambiance felt upscale and moody. The menu is varied with some really interesting-sounding drinks. I ordered the mi loquita: tequila, blackberry liqueur, house-made hot honey shrub, acidified pineapple. They have some snacks and this bar is attached to Dozo where we had omakase reservations later. Signature cocktails range from $13-$16 which seemed normal for this type of spot. There are more pinball machines here than anywhere else, and they are mostly brand new, top of the line editions. All of the machines are well maintained, and usually work perfectly. On the rare occasion when there is a problem with a machine, there is usually a staff member available who can fix it promptly, or at least give you a free game on a different machine. Their use of RFID cards for payment is definitely more convenient than most of the other arcades, which require dollar bills (or even quarters, in some cases). For those who aren't into pinball, there are also a number of other games (claw machines, etc.), making Level Up a great destination for the whole family. Definitely recommended!
